Inspired by Nature Sketchbook Paperback – May 14, 2019

I’ve been a fan of Marjolein’s for some time. This book does not disappoint. I could look through it again and again. I look forward to filling in the blank pages. Lovely book!

This is a beautiful journal that gives great tips and has beautiful drawings by Marjolein Bastin. If you love her art, you will love the sketch book. If you want empty pages for your own art, this has empty pages scattered here and there but is not just a sketch.book. It is well made and has very nice paper that works very well with watercolors. I have noticed no bleed through and even though I use water, the pages dry nicely.

What I like best about this journal is the blend of blank pages for my writing/sketches interspersed with the artist's sketches and notes. It is like receiving a beautiful, surprise gift to turn from a blank page to one with her work on it. I fully enjoy her practice sketches and observations on one page with a finished painting on the adjoining page.

My mom adores Ms Bastin’s work. This book is a treasure. There are a lot of blank pages, three to every one drawing, but the drawings are enchanting. Definitely for someone who appreciates art and enjoys sketching or doodling

Love this artists work, so, the sketchbook was a no-brainer purchase. The printing is beautiful, the pages are sturdy although, I think this would be for sketching with dry media. I love it! If there was only one change I could suggest, would be to have it spiral or ring bound so that each page would lay flatter--may just be my personal preference.

The artwork is just gorgeous! I remember this artist when she had many designs with Hallmark so was very excited to get it.I love the book; I just wasn’t expecting it to be a workbook.

While there are quite a few blank pages in this book...which can be used for Journaling or your own art....this is a beautiful little book with gorgeous illustrations.....I bought mine used to save a few $$$....is in excellent condition with all pages intact and unused....very pleased with this purchase!!!

Really like this book because it has lovely paintings that inspire you to create your own. Can’t wait until the weather improves so I can add my nature paintings.
