At first glance I thought: “A bin? Really? How exciting can that be?” But lo and behold, this one proved me wrong. The step on the pedal. It’s like summoning a secret vault of rubbish. No bending, no awkward “oops, bag slipped” moments. The foot lever works like a tiny trash-butler at my command. The removable inner bucket is a blessing for when you actually pull out the bag and realise you’ve over-filled it with cereal boxes and banana peels. The heavy-duty plastic bucket pops out nicely. The brushed stainless steel exterior looks sleek, hides fingerprints better than I expected, and gives your kitchen that “I care about waste disposal” vibe. 30 litres of capacity seems generous enough for daily kitchen chaos or at least the chaos of one moderately messy adult. While it’s stylish, it’s still (let’s be honest) a bin. Don’t expect it to serenade you when you open it. The pedal is sturdy, even if you stomp on it with the force of a dinosaur tantrum. Overall for a bin, this is a top-tier bin. It makes rubbish feel just a little less rubbish. Does it clean your kitchen by itself? Sadly, no. But it does let you dispose of the evidence of your cooking experiments with dignity. If you want a no-fuss, good-lookin’, foot-pedal operated disposable for your waste, this dustbin is a strong candidate.

This bin looks smart and is a prefect size for us (we are a low-waste house so need a bin that's not too big so it gets changed regularly-ish and nothing has too long to fester at the bottom). It fits our 30L compostable bags perfectly as it's the right shape (not too tall and thin). It seems pretty robust and mechanism works fine. I think it opens too fast (like it's spring-loaded fast) and closes too slow, but lots of people would disagree and no-one else in the house cares - perhaps I am just heavy footed. If the mechanism lasts I will give it another star... It is very easy to clean, the lid opens all the way back well clear of the opening and the top is nice and wide to reduce 'missing the bin' incidences. It closes nice and snugly so keeps smells in and cats out.

Delivery was quick it was packed well no damage. Looks great in my kitchen and closes slowly also extremely quiet.

Exactly as described good action on lid slow closing so doesn't slam shut, clean lines and measurements as described. Easy to clean and looks tidy. Sadly the same style bin for £33 showed as available but when tried to order said out of stock so bought this slightly more expensive version. So far very happy with it, only reason for marking it down 1 star was that i've only just bought it, so not sure how well it will last over time and if it had been a bit cheaper (having seen other item) think it would be 5 out of 5

Is exactly what I needed and I love it

The bin is great & pecorms really well initially. Like another reviewer i am disappointed that it is shiny stainless steel & not white. The description does state stainless steel, but the image makes it look like it is white. I ordered quickly expecting a white bin... my mistake but a more accurate photo would be appreciated. Update 1- had the bin now since late October( almost 3 months ) and the lid is already broken. The pedal action metal pole has already fractured the plastic connection and now the bin lid will not close properly. I have tried superglue but am not hopeful... poor design, probably worth spending a little more on something more sturdy. Update 2- Amazon customer service has been great and after using their chat facility a replacement is being sent. Lets hope that this one lasts a little longer. Good service from Amazon today, thanks guys.
