After spending an hour+ researching Surface 7 covers looking for the one that felt the most official and sleek but also gave the best protection, I hit the jackpot.I LOVE the velvet feel of this case, I LOVE that it says "Surface Pro" on the flap instead of a brand name, and I LOVE how solid it feels. It is extremely firm, bendy enough to just barely not feel like hard plastic, and the inner plastic cover makes it feel that much more secure than these style cases usually do, with just the little elastic bands or whatever. No sliding around here!! I truly feel like my Surface 7 is now secure, protected, and sexy.My only concern is with the velvet feel how it handles something like rain for when I carry it into the house or whatever. But it's so slim it's incredibly easy to comfortably put under your arm or slip in a bag, so this is a minor concern.5/5 Great product

This is a great case. It is durable and looks nice and professional. I do use my surface pro for taking notes at school, so the only thing I do not like is that it is tricky to prop it up for writing. I did like pulling my kickstand out all the way to slightly prop my pro up when I took notes. This case disables the use of the kickstand. I have figured out how to prop it up but it is tricky. I'll update when my semester starts and I have to use my pro every day to take notes. But for what was advertised and how it has worked so far, still 5/5.

Muy buena funda, la cuido, pues decías que se podía quebrar las esquinas, pero para mi es muy práctica, es delgada, protege mi Surface, la puedo llevar en mi bolso y no se calienta al cargar la tablet. Se batalla un poco al sacarla para cambiar la memoria, ahí falló en el diseño. Pero como no muevo la memoria durante los viajes, cuando la saco lo hago con cuidado.

Works well, sturdy and nice stable designGood color match to my burgundy keyboardbit worried about heat dissipation but haven’t used it enough yet to tell. Fans and ports seem open but of course no case is ideal for heat dissipation.Shipping was slow - thus the 4 star. But otherwise very happy !! Included screen protector was a nice touch.

This case fits my SP6 beautifully and can protect it in the event of falls etc. (I'm not a particularly careless person, so take that with a pinch of salt). The case does not allow for the kickstand to open out but the case itself is sturdy enough to hold the tablet upright so this is not a deal-breaker. I'm comfortable using it on my lap or a hard surface and it folds down nicely if I want to use it in tablet mode. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I tried a different case that used the Surface's kickstand for the support. It just didn't do the trick for me. This one does.I'd like it to be a little thinner, but I don't think it's possible to create a case that's thinner, equally protective, and provides the support to use the Surface on the lap.

I am impressed! Very nice, sturdy feel to it and large enough to fit the pad and the keyboard together!

I really like the feel of the cover. The closure is secure and it has a elastic loop for my surface pen. It feels very sturdy. It also makes it easier to use on my lap.

Cover was as identified, but did not allow varied tilt positions so I returned it.
