A good neck light, but do you need a neck light? Buyer's remorse.
Very easy to use - simple push buttons that illuminate one or both of the LEDs on each side. Charged via a microUSB port which seems reasonably robust (insofar as any of these are).Chose the sickly green colour on the basis that if I'm wearing it I can barely see it, but if I'm not, I can find it easily. It is most useful for close work, but relies on maintaining a certain posture and, with its smooth serpentine body, can slip easily. For reading in bed (highlighted in the description) it presents more difficulties as it shifts about and using it when travelling (night coach, train, etc) is worse. For these purposes, you would be better off with a booklight or even a head torch (soft light versions are available). And, of course, the battery cannot be replaced so, like too many other items, it is too likely to end up as toxic landfill all the more quickly. So overall this is a good example of a neck torch but after six months, I find that I use it less and less and I'm no longer convinced of the merit of these items in general. Maybe the dark, cold winter will see a revival.

Boo LED Lighting
I don't know what I was thinking. LED lighting is so abhorrent to my eyes. The glow it gives off is more of a light blue tint and it casts shadows all over the place which can be disorienting. I bought one for the bf, currently hidden away as a Valentine's gift, for all the night time reading he does, but he HATES the light the one I use puts off, so now he too will know the same disappointment I feel with the purchase, but on a personal level. It reminds me of flourescent lighting without all the buzzing/humming noise. I think it might be worse for my eyes.I will say the light is bright, the design is nice and it is easy to use, so if the idea of LED lights doesn't bother you, then this could be what you have been looking for.
