Don't work with factory navigation but can still make it happen with alittle extra work. Color is not an 100% match but close.

I would have given this 5 stars but I'm really not happy with the lack of information on what size radio it fits. The trim piece accepts 173mm x 97mm and my radio was 178mm x 100mm, so I had to do a little trimming. I'm not going to say I wasn't a little scared trimming a $200 trim piece...All in all, I got the radio to fit and installed. The color is almost a perfect match. The only other bad thins is the buttons feel a little flimsy and it took several presses to start my AC, but I finally got it to work and now I have a touchscreen instead of a cassette player...YAY!

I'd been thinking for awhile to update the stereo in a used 2004 Infiniti G35, I purchased. The stock stereo was connected to the AC system, via a mutual circuit board. Sometimes using the stereo (bad sound) would lock up the AC system or vice versa. Found a stereo at Best Buy, but they didn't have the dash kit so I purchased it from Amazon. The installer took it right out of the box and it matched perfectly the old dash piece. The buttons on the new dash kit are kind of rubbery, but they are bigger than the old ones, so I like it! It looks great. See the attached photograph.My main issue though, is that what is essentially a piece of molded plastic should not cost almost $200. No way! But there seems to be only a few companies that make it aftermarket. Metra is the most well-known of those companies.

This kit is needed in the G since the stock radio comes with so many problems. I will say, the color is a bit off from the factory color, but what can you really expect since this is made of plastic. Definitely not shiny like the picture. Instructions that come with the kit tell you everything you need to know. I had a problem with attaching the pocket to the kit because it said to use factory hardware, but the bolts that came with factory pocket were to thin. I have a stock of other bolts so this wasn't too bad. Buttons are rubber, and feel ok. Heard people were having trouble with swapping AC vents, but it is simple. Just use two flathead screwdrivers to wedge each side out.

This fits my 2003 G35 sedan perfectly. However, the finish scuffed easily during installation. The most troublesome part of the install was the removal, and especially the installation, of the air vents from the OEM fascia into the Metra. The vents were held in with plastic clips and removing the vents was difficult; similarly re-installing the vents was not easy, I'm still not sure I got all the clips to secure properly. No one mentioned that the buttons are different from the OEM; I still would have purchased, but it was a little surprising when I opened up the kit. I have no problem recommending this kit.

Fit and finish leaves something to be desired. I read different post on people using the factory AC and heater controls in place of the ones provided with the unit, but I found the task a bit daunting so I opted to keep the Metra buttons which have a cheap feel. It was for my wifes car and she did not seem to mind. Care should be taken when reassembling the storage pockets as the screws from the original dash cluster did not fit. Overall the color match is great as well as the vent fitment.

I hate that these are so expensive but I do get they are specifically designed. This was pretty well made except a few areas on the top storage bin. Went in super easy and looks pretty good.

I installed this kit for my 2004 G35. Excellent fit and matched OEM finish. Initially I was worried because it is plastic replacing a metallic housing but fit and finish as well as construction all appear solid. Well done.
