Coleman Tasman 3 Tent

Brilliant Tent, Perfect size.I have been on many camping trips, 50+. So id like to think i know a bit about tents and camping in general.Needed a tent for casual camping as well as trekking up mountains. Tasman is Perfect for both.Packed away it is very compact and light, great for trekking or just having extra room in the boot of the car. Very easy to put up and put down, about 10-15 mins with 2 people to put up, very nice and neat looking.Ample space inside the sleeping area, would comfortably sleep 3 but probably best for 2 if you like your own space. Pockets in sides great for storing phones, key, etc up off the ground so there not easily lost.Porch area great, had my gear and partners gear in it as well as the 2 of us sitting in it and we were very comfortable. Not especially high roof, have about 4" head clearance if you were sitting on ground. Raised edges on ground sheet also a plus as well as it being attached to the sleeping area.Had our worst weekend of camping weather wise about 1 month back. Camping in Lahinch Co.Clare Ireland right at the for-frond of the Atlantic Ocean. It didn't stop raining the whole time we were their. That coupled with the high winds it was a recipe for disaster. But the Colman Tasman didn't let a drop of rain through or let the wind affect it. It stood strong and rigid because of its aerodynamics, low and close to the ground, no where for the wind to catch it, the wind simply glides over it. Can be confident it will still be there when you come back to it, cant be said for a lot of campers that weekend, some coming back to their tents being ripped apart by high winds and some leaving there tents in the middle of the night to sleep in cars. We didn't have this problem at all, slept very well even with the rain a wind howling outside.I highly recommend this tent to anyone, beginner or casual camper to serious mountain trekkers.Ticks all the boxes for me and I'm sure it'll do the same for anyone.I'll be buying from Colman from now on.

This is a really nice looking and feeling tent. I never opened the package but from You tube reviews its almost what I needed for my week in the English countryside. The materials are great a set up looks a doddle, however; sitting down I am 105cm and the max height of the Tasman 3 is 100 to 110cms; so my head would be almost touching the top of the tent if I sat up or occupied the porch area.I found another tent on Amazon with a sitting head height of 145 to 155cms in the sleeping section and porch, so returned Tasman for that, also this second choice is still light at 6.7 Kgs folded. Looking forward to seeing how new boy holds up in the rough. I returned Tasman 3 but still a good looking and feeling tent.

I wanted a tent I could carry easily on my motorcycle and the Tasman3 appeared to fit my requirements and previous reviews were good. The packed size is good and erecting the tent is easy for one person and taking about 20 mins on my first attempt in slight wind. Not yet tried on campsite so can’t yet comment on overnight and weather resistance etc but looks good and I’m pleased with the purchase.

Great tent and takes only 5 mins or so to put up :-) ... lots of room for two ..... really pleased I brought it

Used this in some horrendous rain and wind the other week stud up to the test no problem.In fact it was so good my friend ordered one while we were camping🤙

A great tent. Far superior to the 'Go outdoors' equivalent. Good price too. Used around 8 times in just over a year, no signs of wear at all. Very watertight and wind resistant, should last for many years to come!

Great product easy to assemble worked a treat good quality tent leaning towards two people for comfort
