bigger than what you think
I was hoping these split rings were closed flat and a little bit narrower on the flat edge, I used them for my center swiveling on the bottom of my traps and bound up alot when trying to flip the ring

Best way to attach traps to ankers
Heavy-duty used with mb 550s and wolf fang ankers and caught coyotes. Split rings worked perfect. I do check them after each catch just to make sure they are still tight so far so good for the first season.
