Decent minifridge, but does NOT go belowe 40 Degrees F
not bad, and usable in some settings but remember the actual temperature will never cool below 40 degrees F. It keeps your fool "cool" but not actually cold

Flawed. Many better options out there. BEWARE
First the pros:- Its looks great- It has a digital controlNow the cons:- It only has a single fan and plate which means it can only cool things down by about 22F or 12C. My office is 72F degrees. After running 6 hours it cooled to 50 degrees and has stayed there for over 24 hours (it is set to below freezing). It simply does not have the power -- it will be impossible for this unit to cool more effectively and its baffling why people claim in can (not this model - no way). (It uses the exact same mechanism as my 10L and 6L versions which are much small and it is just sufficient to cool -- no way they could freeze something)- The door is so heavy that it tips the unit over when you open it (unless the unit is pretty full)- It only displays in Celcius- It only shows the current actual temperature -- not the set temperature (probably because it never actually reaches a set temperature)- The small fan on the back can not be restricted... that is you can not place this against a wall and expect good performance because the way it is designed the airflow restricts and performance drops immediately.- Although this is apparently 'eco-friendly' (it does not use freon)... it does cost more than a traditional (and larger) dorm fridge AND it uses more electricity...- YOU CAN NOT RETURN THIS FOR ANY REASON - BROKEN OR NOT. THERE IS SOME SMALL SMALL SMALL PRINT SOMEPLACE THAT APPARENTLY SAYS (you know why they do this... cause they are garbage and have a huge return rate)- This 'single fan' fridge is sold under many names here... they all look identical... they all have one fan... they all have about 12 perfect reviews (I have since noted that every positive review was left in the same two week period of time... _ They are all garbage designed to take your money. BEWARE.Alternatives:- There are versions (at least one) of these listed on Amazon that uses TWO fans and has TWO cold plates on the inside - they are very close in price and they could deliver on all these kinds of promises (wish I'd spent the extra $30)- Get a dorm fridge -- they are larger capacity, less money and totally reliable in contrast. They even make space-saving ones and retro ones that will suit most environments. Many are quiet.- Get off your butt and walk to the big refrigerator that actually cools stuff properly - the steps are good for you.In the meantime... I'm enjoying a nice lukewarm soda. Good for me! Yum.

Not silent, temps are okay for some purposes
The coldest it gets is about 39°F, and the warmest is 149°F. These temperatures are not magnificently useful because most perishable foods do not keep at 39°, and most warm items are best even warmer. That said, I use mine to keep cooled lavender eye pillows, bottles of water, and warming pads filled with seeds. For these purposes they works. I own 2, one kept cool and one kept warm. Also, They are too noisy for a bedroom or any other quiet space, where there’s no other noise. It’s a low hum, but it’s definitely noticeable if you require quiet.

Fridges are supposed to get cold, right?
Totally sealed, added a real thermometer, will not go below 50 degrees. Deal breaker. I'm happy to put beer in there, but the whole purpose was for milk and items that might actually perish. On the plus side, perfect proportions, looks smart. But won't keep a darn thing cool.

not what I expected
This is not what I would catorgorize as a mini-fridge. It is more of an electric cooler. size was right for me. Only holds temp if I turn it down below freezing.

can't imagine..
that there's a better small refrigerator for the money than this one..larger than i expected and runs ice cold..to give you an idea of the interior size, it holds 2, half gallon milk jugs with room to spare..quiet and efficient..i usually don't write reviews but this thing is pretty awesome ..
