I bought my son the small tub first. He immediately ran out of brain flakes so I purchased the big tub 3 years ago and it is still the most played with out of all of his toys! Finding something that my autistic son absolutely loves is worth every penny!

They're better than Legos because Legos are hurt people's hate and all they are is a bunch of rectangle blocks overpriced.. brain flakes is easy to put together and easy to take apart you could build just about anything with brain flakes I built the Star Trek deep space nine space station out of the gray brain flakes.. I built giant different color Stars what I want to do is send you some pictures of what I made.. they are very colorful and bright I love them even the black the gray the white are shiny as well and blends in with the rest of the colors and with the gray and the black and the white you could build rockets aircraft anything you could think of and blend the other colors with it to brighten it out!! It's very amazing and it keeps people like me occupied for hours those that have anxiety issues it helps us get our minds occupied so that we won't have to be dwelling on stuff that happened to us in the past.

I am a 5th grade teacher and my students love these for indoor recess on rainy days. I even like to get in on the creative fun!

We were foolish and bought the small 500 piece set. My 3 year old LOVES these. And they are really fun for all of us to sit together and create things as a family. We needed more because we ran out of the colors we wanted and weren't all able to build big things together at the same time. We have had these since for 4 months now and they are by far and away the most played with toy we have. It's every day, most of the day.One thing I really love about them is how small and put-away-able they are. If you have 2500 legos, they are going to be bursting out of everywhere. 2500 of these babies all compact down into this nice little box. And yet you can still build as big of things as you do with legos. And far more interesting things - in my opinion. It has really sparked creativity in my daughter. I could not be happier with these. Seriously. Just get them.

My kids make all kinds of things with these and okay for hours at a time and Everytime they stop playing with them we come up with a new theme, plants vs zombies, army men, Harry Potter, Worms , what ever they can imagine they build. The big tub was definitely nicer then the small bucket

Finally bought the big one. Worth it. Kids always fought over the smaller container. I put off this purchase for probably a year. Dreading hundreds of brain flakes everywhere. 2 kids, 6 and 9, love to build stuff. Print all the instructions.
