Decent, unsecure parcel solution. Sight & weather, not theft.
Not too difficult to assemble. Pay attention to the instructions. Will need Philips screw driver and patience. The locking hasp is a laughable illusion of security as the bottom of the unit just pops off. This is NOT a secure storage box. It's a decent weather-resistant drop box for parcels to be placed out of sight and out of most weather. Bottom has gaps so best to place on elevated surface or on concrete that won't retain surface water. Works great for our situation, looks decent, and was affordable for what it is.

Reliable and Secure Storage Solution although with some leaks
I recently purchased the Cosco Outdoor Living BoxGuard®, Large Lockable Package Delivery and Storage Box in Tan from Amazon, and overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. This storage box offers a reliable and secure solution for package deliveries and general storage needs. With its spacious 6.3 cubic feet capacity, the BoxGuard® provides ample room for accommodating various package sizes, ensuring protection against the elements and potential theft. The lockable feature of the BoxGuard® adds an extra layer of security, giving me peace of mind knowing that my packages are safe until I retrieve them. The lock mechanism is sturdy and easy to use, providing quick access for authorized individuals while deterring unauthorized access. The tan color of the BoxGuard® blends well with my outdoor surroundings, enhancing the aesthetics of my porch or patio. The box's durable construction is apparent, using high-quality materials that can withstand different weather conditions.Assembly was straightforward, thanks to clear instructions and all the necessary hardware provided. It took me a short amount of time to set up the BoxGuard® and start utilizing it immediately.Since I began using the BoxGuard®, I have noticed a significant decrease in package theft and damage caused by exposure to rain or sunlight. It has become an essential addition to my home, ensuring the safekeeping of my valuable deliveries. The size of the BoxGuard® is well-designed for accommodating larger packages, eliminating the need for awkward arrangements or leaving packages unattended on my porch. While I am highly satisfied with the BoxGuard®'s functionality and reliability, I am deducting one star due to its relatively higher price compared to similar storage boxes available in the market.Overall, the Cosco Outdoor Living BoxGuard® has proven to be a reliable and secure storage solution. Its dependable performance, enhanced security features, and appealing design make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking to protect their deliveries and maintain an organized porch. One high yield note, if you caulk the bottom and sides, it'll help to waterproof the box

Weatherproof and Easy to Spot
Got this because we get a lot of rain. The slanted roof is ideal to keep rain and snow off the top.It was not especially easy to asssemble- the internal fastenrs can break easily. That said, once I got it assembled, it was easy to put into use and the hinge works great. I added a delivery sign with all the logos (Amazon, FedEx,etc.) and now nearly all our deliveries make it to the box.CAUTION: The latch/lock is thin metal and fragile. We gave up on installing it.

Sturdy and convenient!
Gotta say, I'm super impressed with the strength of this thing. I bought it so my after-hours customer would have a place to pickup orders when they can't get to me before I close my shop - that way I can bolt it down to the loading dock and not have to worry about someone taking an order. What I really loved was that while it did come with a name plate at the bottom that says "Deliveries", it also came with a blank plate! It's a small detail, but I love that I can change the name plate to say "after-hours pickup". It was also super simple to assemble.

It’s okay.
Let me start off by saying, I generally consider myself a pretty capable person. I usually assemble the furniture that comes into our household by myself. I’ve built gates and fences. I’m not an incapable idiot. Let me also say that I do not curse. However, this unit made me bite my tongue a few times. It snaps together. If you’ve ever put together a plastic playhouse or climbing set, it’s the same concept. There’s nothing extra to hold the pieces together. So while the concept is simple, the execution is difficult. When you get two pieces snapped together, there’s a good chance they will come apart in your attempt to snap the third on. This box is supposed to be weatherproof inside, but I have my doubts, as there is nothing sealing any of the seams. Again, it’s just snapped together. It’s not exceptionally heavy duty. A strong wind might topple it, which could result in the walls coming unsnapped, in which case I might cry. I’m debating how I can better secure the pieces together, and how I can secure it outside. It might be fine if you live in a residential area with mild weather. However, if you live in an area with moderate to severe weather, and especially if you aren’t going to have this unit under a roof or shelter of some kind, you might reconsider. Or at least be prepared to make some diy adjustments.
