Square Enix Isaac Clarke "Dead Space 3" Action Figure

I love Dead Space so much I decided to splurge on this figure.Play Arts makes pretty decent figures at a fair price I'd say.He looks amazing in my gaming room.I wish they constructed him so that his mask and spine lite up like in the game.But, even without that feature, they painted him very well enough that it almost looks like it is lit up.The knee joint is a little weird, his body movements are a little stiff and the hands are pretty difficult to replace. I wish they had his gripping hands installed upon purchase. I removed the wrong end of it and I can not get it to go back in. But overall, it is still a great purchase.But overall, I recommend.

A great piece for any dead space collection. The style figure that square enix makes, isn't my favorite, but the figure overall is worth it. The paint is decent, the articulation was what you'd come to expect, and it's nice to see Isaac not just having a plasma cutter! To leave the warehouse took a couple of days, but came in a weeks time.

But I decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. And that's because I knew what I was expecting and at the same time relieved to not experience some of the negative aspects of the figure that other reviewers experienced. First of all excellent detail, great durability, decent accessories, and depsite what others have complained about, great articulation. This is the kinda figure you have to "break in" so to speak. Yes it is a little stiff at first but once you start working the joints, it loosens up. I never felt the fear of accidentally breaking it like others have; it's too solid. And I'll admit these are some weird joints so they do seem a bit odd especially in the knees. My only gripe with that is that it affects the proportions of his body. That's a flaw that seems common in Play Kai Arts figures. NECA does a great job of maintaining natural body proportions with their figures because they use hinge joints rather that ball joints in areas where ball joints are typically used, making the figure more realistic. It's especially evident in their Crysis 2 Alcatraz figure. Other than that it's still a great buy.

This is one of the worst Isaac figures I ever seen and to charge $70 is criminal. I Have the Isaac Clarke (DS 1 & 2) figures from NECA, those are top notch and easier on the wallet. You can't see the joints on them like this one also the NECA ones light up! Save your money people!

Got my figure today and soon as I open the package I knew something was not right. But I give it the benefit of doubt by kept on opening until i saw the inside of the box was already open and the display stand came out without me finish opening it yet. I can say that it was already open cause I see tape are place at the bottom of the figure box inside so it would not pop out . They are not original seal from company ok I know . I have been purchasing play art kai figure for a long time I know what they include inside.I am not usually a picky buyer but you are selling a open box figure for the brand new price this is not cool. Imagine if I was a collector who want figure not open and put it on the shelf I would never notice it. The only reason I am giving this 2 star instead of 1 star because I love the figure and not returning it .Of course it is not a perfect figure and some of the joint are pretty loose compare to other play art kai figure that I have. Final thought please don't sell open box figure on the high end price its embarrassing.

Some have called Play Arts figures a poor mans Hot Toys while I wont totally agree with that statement you are getting good value and a decent price. I am a huge fan of the Dead Space series so having a decent sized Issac Clarke is important to me. The paint job is excellent his poseability is a little limited but Play Arts major flaw is in its inability to match faces with its subject matter. But with Issac because of his helmet this isn't a problem so you get a incredible detail figure.

im a huge dead space fan and love to add things to my collection of this game title so i purchased this figure...play arts makes beautiful figures and the box is cool with a flip front cover, if your like me you would keep it in the box :)
