Works for me, but soggy pucks.
Aside from some initial problems getting water through, which were probably due to my not having pressed the magic reset sequence to establish the default timings, this machine has worked very nicely for its first week. The only real niggles are the visibility of the water level (but it's not a huge problem to refill it when it makes the louder buzzing) and the soggy pucks that don't tap out easily: I think I'll have to revert to scraping it out with a spoon. The manual makes no mention of the cup-sized hollow under the water tank lid - I presume it's for whichever filter you don't use - but I'm not clear whether it's safe to keep the little pokey wire tools in there as well.I wish Amazon had suggested buying a 53mm dosing funnel - the filter is much narrower than my stovetop pot, so I really need one - but I measured the tamp and ordered a 51mm funnel, whereas the filter is 53mm.I'm not sure what 'blending power' is, so no rating given there.

Amazing espresso machine
I don't know if is something with what i complain. The coffee has a good taste, the steamer do a perfect and smooth foam. Bare in mind that if you use the steam for milk you have to let it to get pressure.5 * without issueEdit after 2 months :Like i said first time this espresso machine is very nice. I didn't have any problems at all.

Worth the money because it's cheap – but not the best
It is cheap and reasonably easy to use. You can set the machine to deliver coffee for a specific period of time (which is good) but the delivery of water varies: sometimes it flows quickly, sometimes almost not at all. The firmness of tamping makes no difference. The frother is too low-powered. It is necessary to turn it off when it gets below optimum temperature (the front light flashes) and then back again – up to four times for a one-cup dose of milk. But it is the cheapest product on the market, and I might possibly buy it again if it lasts for a couple of years without deterioration. I had previously bought a brand twice as expensive, but the three I bought successively lasted less then five years in total.

disappointing
I know it's cheap but I had hoped for good basic performance. it is very sensitive to grind of beans and if it isn't just so then the coffee hopper after use is slurry rather than a solid block. The milk frother is really noisy (ear piercing) but ineffective, it warms milk but doesn't froth it. Would not recommend

Best taste of coffee ever
I'll never return to the coffee made just with boiled water from the teapot. Now coffee has an amazing taste. Thanks to Cooks. Really happy with this purchase. One minus - you have to use small cups like for espresso. But well, it is an espresso coffee machine after all 😁

Makes a nice cup of espresso.
Bought the machine one month ago. Seems to be working fine and to deliver the promise. Will change my review if something goes wrong but for as long as you see this review unchanged means that all are well. Cheers :-)

milk frothing is a bit of an effort
well-made for the price and the basic coffee-making process seems to be fine. The instructions are extremely brief, which doesn't help when trying to find out how to get frothy milk. This does take a while and it seems that you have to do it in 3 or 4 steps as the steam needs to rebuild.

the frother does not work at all
i like the look of this inexpensive coffee machine, but it will NOT make you a Costa type coffee, DONT even bother trying to use the wand it is useless, pay more money and you may be lucky !
