Wow!
I bought this brand "version" of this light because Sovol put their name on it, so clearly they were confident enough in this product to sell it under their name. This works really well. I use it in a light box to cure waste resin from our Formlabs printer. You can hold it over a tank or a bucket (obviously, not looking at it!) and it will cure the top layer in about 8 seconds. It blew away any existing UV lights that we had around the shop. Unfortunately the way UV resins seem to work is that once some layers cure, they tend to then block the UV light rays. Basically, it won't cure much after 3 millimeters of thickness unless you leave the light shining on it for a lot of hours. Just to curb your expectations on what this light can or can't do. Basically I wouldn't expect this to cure a thick part in a silicone mold completely within 10 minutes. You would have to leave it under the lamp for a couple of hours for the UV light to penetrate and cure the material completely. But it will do that!

I liked my first one so much I bought a second
I do 3d printing with UV cured resins and FDM printers. I use a Sovol SV01 as one of my main FDM printers and I actually printed the UV curing box off a free file on thingiverse using my SV01. The company has had great customer service and are easy to get in touch with via Facebook's messenger service. So when I needed a UV lamp for the box and since I liked my Sovol machine and their customer service, I figured, I'd give their UV light a whirl. The lamp's got a rock solid construction, and the lamp cranks out consistent light that does the job perfectly with the type of resins usually used in DLP printers such as the Anycubic Photon and EPAX X1 printers that I use. I found that my print volumes were higher than I initially anticipated so I decided to print up a second box and picked up a second lamp from Sovol recently. If I had a small gripe, the packaging it was sent in was inadequate on my second lamp. These really need to be boxed and not sent in envelopes. That was more on the Amazon side though and not a reflection on the product. Luckily the second lamp came intact, but the lamp's packaging was pretty beat up. Update: I reached out to Sovol about the packaging situation with Amazon and they reached out to Amazon to make sure that they're packed in boxes with bubble wrap instead of the envelopes. You shouldn't have any issues with damaged product moving forward.

Compact and effective
Soon after leaving my initial (2 star) review the seller contacted me for details on what was going on with the light. The issue was the switch, it was very loose and tapping or jostling the switch would cause the light to flicker or turn off, leaving me with safety concerns. The seller offered to send a replacement, which arrived today. Second time's a charm - the new unit makes nice affirmative clicks when switching between on and off and performance is steady. No issues now, back in business - bumping my rating up to 5 stars. Many thanks to Sovol's (seller) persistence in making sure I was taken care of. The all-metal housing is solid, and the light itself seems more than up for the task. Under this light a handful of my uncured prints quickly lost their soft, unfinished feeling (full curing might take a bit longer I suppose). This should also perform beautifully for curing UV solder masking for printed circuit boards. In a pinch, lining the box it came in with foil is a good enclosure hack, but the next step is a more robust, permanent housing (not sure I'd want to hand-hold a UV source this strong).

6/10 sturdy but not a strong light
Made very well but it takes foreverr to cure any uv resin. Probably isn't as strong as it was advertised. :/ guess ill just use my old one until i find a better uv curing light.

Bright, sturdy and reliable!
Although UV lights at nail salons that cover the hand keep the light from entering your eyes better, I didn't go d using this without looking directly at it difficult and it doubles as a much more effective flashlight than the average flashlight. A nice, sturdy, simple to use product that's very well made! No regrets buying this - although I use it for crafts, not doing nails with UV coatings.

Careful! Don't over expose with this!
OK, so I have been using this for about a week now and have over the course of that week discovered that you can easily overexpose your finished print if you are not careful. When I first got this light I exposed a white print (after properly cleaning of course) for slightly over an hour in a homemade aluminum foil lined box. My print turned from white to light brown and dried it so badly that it felt like a brick. Here is what I found worked best for me; put your cleaned print on a rotating display (can be purchased here on Amazon for cheap). Use your watch or some sort of timer to see how long it takes for the rotating display to make a complete circle, and make note of it. Find a cardboard box large enough to cover everything, including your light (it does not need to be lined with aluminum foil). Set the light so that it will shine fully on your print (but not too close...keep it at least 10-12" away). Cover everything with the box. Turn on the rotating display. Turn on the light and start your timing immediately. Allow enough time for the display to rotate 3 or 4 times. Shut off the light. Turn off the rotating display. Take the box off and see if you have a good cure, more than likely you will. Works great for me! Have fun, but remember always keep safety in mind. Use protective eyeglasses and never leave the print curing unattended.

Power switch is incredibly flaky
Overall this light is nice but the power switch is complete junk. The toggle is very loose and when in the ON position if you lightly touch the switch, move the cable, breathe on it, it breaks contact and the light goes off requiring you to wiggle the switch around until it re-engages. I don't think this stops the light from serving its function, but it does make it seem very cheap quality.
