I have always had very fine, dry hair. After menopause my normally full, wavy hair had zero volume. None. At all. I used this conditioner with the Joiful shampoo and was pleasantly surprised by the increase in volume. My hair looked younger again and was even wavy. It even seemed thicker. While it didn't leave my hair oily or greasy, it also didn't dry it out. I'm able to wash every other day without my hair feeling dirty or going flat. The scent isn't too strong and isn't really pleasant or unpleasant, just conditioner-y.

I discovered this on vacation when I went to a salon. I have always had fine hair that gets really frizzy in humidity (and Im in Florda). I always wondered how my hair calmed down after an infrequent visit to salon but resumed its frizzy self after I washed it at home. I tried volumizing and hydrating shampoos but nothing helped. The salon was in South Africa, and like I’d done so many times without much insight, I asked the beautician how to manage my hair. She recommended the volumizing formulation of Joico. Maybe there are a lot of white women with fine hair in South Africa that have the same problem, but this advice finally yielded results. It’s salon quality so you need WAY LESS than the shampoo and conditioner you buy at the store. If you have fine hair, this shampoo and conditioner is your BFF. It makes my hair silky and I have no frizz and for a simple gal like me this feels like a blowout. I have read that it leaves peoples hair greasy- this will happen if you don’t rinse properly. I have followed the internet's advice to rinse with cold water but you should do that after you rinse the product out with at least lukewarm water. If you do cold only you may not get the product out of your hair. Worth every penny (and lasts a long time)

I use this once a week on wash day and it does everything it says it would, friends always tell me how good my hair looks after a wash with this product.
