The setup for this was not hard, though I have never done it before. Unfortunately, the instructions are on one sheet of paper and they are not very detailed. I was nervous I would assemble it incorrectly, so I searched on YouTube and found that someone had taken the time to put together a great instructional video on assembling this very product. I took my time and it came together beautifully.I had no idea I could have my own studio at such a low cost.

This kit has met my needs for a portable, easy-to-assemble green screen for chroma key work. The reason I give 5 stars is because of the price point & volume of equipment. In terms of quality, the lighting stands are not made for long-term road work where they will be abused -- the kit will address my needs as long as I take good care of it!If you are looking for a green screen, I do not recommend anything smaller than 10x12 as this is about the right size to film two people at once. Any smaller & the camera must be placed quite close to the screen. If you are thinking about a chroma key package, this is a good place to start.

I received this item and everything seemed ok, when I started putting together the soft boxes I noticed that the soft boxes were not the same as the ones in the pictures, the ones that I received did not have the additional inner diffuser and the main diffuser did not have the velcro on it, so it was a different model. Also the rods that came with the kit did not have the protective caps on the sides. The package arrived on time but one of the bulbs was broken, I contacted the seller and they told me that they have changed the soft-boxes in the kit, thats all that email said, no other comments or replacements (not even for the broken bulb), I feel that they should have told me before I bought it since the main reason why I bought this kit was for the soft boxes. I dont feel like going through the trouble of sending this back so I am going to keep it. The rest of the kit is ok but not as described.

We bought these to replace an existing light set and chromakey and are very pleased with all items. Our agency produces advertising for several clients, both in studio and on location. The lights are light, easy to transport and work quite well, and the green screen does exactly what you'd expect. We found the green screen stand to be somewhat small and not very sturdy (thus the 4 star rating instead of 5 stars), but overall it's a great value for the price.

Shipping was excellent and got here quick to Japan and I was surprised. Green screen is great quality kinda is see through but works. Green screen stand feels cheap and if not careful it could bend. Directions aren't good at all and for the setting up the lights it took longer than it should have because the pictures weren't good quality to see where each poles go inside the light fixture. The light base where you insert the poles aren't aligned and will cause you poles to bend and this portion took for ever to get because the end pieces kept coming off for some reason. Thats why it gets three stars from me.

before ordering, I read all the bad reviews about people were saying the green screen is too thin, how it's flimsy, the tripods can be damaged. Well yeah, the metals are a little on the thin side, but it still works. I was able to set up all the lights without forcing anything, or having to use too much force to pop anything into place. Just be gentle with it, and this set-up will last you. One of the lights was able to light up my whole living room, And I can just use it as a lamp if needed, or throw this into a room with no light, and get to work. I set up the green screen with a light in front and took some test photos of myself. The green screen came out fine, it didn't look like it was too thin, or see what was behind it in the photos. If you need a more heavy duty screen, just get one, they go for like $30 on amazon. Honestly, all the people that were complaining about this product are just ripping open the bag, and throwing everything together without care, because I don't have any issues the others were talking about.Gotta know how to handle things people. If you want a rugged set-up that will last you and you can hit it without damaging, get your cheap ass out of the $100 lights and go to the $1,000 lights.

This system works well, we are using it with a TriCaster and the chroma-key function works perfectly. I wish the bulbs were dimmable, but that's pretty easy to fix with different bulbs. The tripod frames are a little flimsy but they work well. The soft-box frame is also a bit wiggy, but once together they cast a very soft and diffuse light.We had to iron the screen to get the wrinkles to come out and we ended up using a 10', 3/4" diameter length of EMT conduit to hang the screen on the wall and a second one at the bottom to keep it taught.

Great Deal.. Pretty good stuff. Lights are decent. Green screen is what it is.
