Does cool oil, sandwich plate (when installed properly) does not leak oil and holds good pressure. The sandwich plate adapter screw has a very small contact patch for a socket, consider getting a larger one. AN fittings difficult to install on hoses per usual. Solid product. Would recommend getting more AN line.

Kit came with everything i needed, worked a little too well but once i go turbo it’ll be ideal!

You get what you pay for , effective but cheap hardware , easy to strip bolts and doesn’t come with any mounting hardware at all

So far so good 120psi oil pressure at wot and seems to hold up well looks ok hose length happened to work perfectly for me. Definitely cools the oil down and worth the money not to have to spend twice as much and still source fittings and hoses.

I got the kit and all the parts look quality made - no problems there. All the parts were there as indicated on the web page. I laid all the parts out on my table...the 'sandwich' looked like it had been banged with a small hammer but overall it was still functional and who would notice since it's under the car - no biggie. So on the weekend I removed my front grill and headlight on the car to access the location to install the cooler. Next I drained the oil and removed the filter. I installed all the fittings for the sandwich. Next I took the two brass fittings included to install the sandwich on the oil filter housing. I tried one and then the other fitting but NEITHER fit!! The threads were fine threads and the oil filter threads are very coarse. Without the correct size brass fitting, the whole kit is useless. For your info, my car is a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. So all that prep work was wasted. I had to go ahead and change the oil and filter and reassemble the grill work and assorted lights and fittings I had removed. Over three hours wasted! Now Evil Energy has a good reputation and that's why I bought from them. You can not call them directly but you can email them. And of course, they aren't open today as it's the weekend. So even if I email them early Monday, they might not be able to respond right away...no way I was going to get the correct part right away. So I ordered another oil cooler from a competitor on Amazon and it will arrive on Wednesday, plus they have a phone number for customer service! So, I am not saying to not buy from Evil Energy to be sure. But email customer service before buying to be sure the kit will definitely fit your car. Ask about the brass fitting compatability. They do include instructions but they are not too detailed. I am returning this kit. The other one ordered does not use a sandwich fitting so should be easier to install.

Perfect fit for my 94 mustang gt, everything looked great and none of the lines leaked.

Made this unit work on 2007 wrx/sti clocked the sandwich plate towards passenger fender and shortened the lines to fit properly with clearance. Had to grind small notch in back side of timing cover to clear the plug for oil temp sensor port. Also made 2 l brackets out of aluminum angle and bolted it to the rad support using large sheetmetal screws. Gave it 4 stars as I've yet yo run it and make sure the fittings are good. Everything looks great and as should so I'm sure it's good to go
