Great tools! Tools are coated to prevent from rusting. My yard is filled with unexpected rocks and I can tell you the tools are solid and won't bend. They have a nice weight to it and the handles are shaped well for easy use. Will recommend it to my family and friends. Great gift idea!

I'd recommend these as a cheap garden tool that will last a couple years if used wisely.

These are very nice tools. Much better than many of the other ones out there. The price is reasonable enough that i do not mind replacing them when that becomes necessary, but from the look of them that will be a long time.

Best tools I have ever bought. They are very strong sturdy. Feel very good in n your hands. You can dig deep without them bending any part of the tool.

Despite their appearance and claims of “heavy duty” steel construction, these garden tools are NOT sturdy or durable. Literally, the very first time I stuck the spade into sandy topsoil that had already been tilled, the neck (i.e., the section of metal above the blade that connects to the handle) bent to so much that it rendered the tool useless. The problem is that the spades are made of a single sheet of “steel” (probably aluminum), and the neck is formed by bending the “steel” into the shape of a cylinder, which is then inserted into the plastic handle. If the neck were made of solid steel, or aluminum for that matter, it wouldn’t bend. I recommend that you spend a few extra bucks on a set of garden tools that have a solid neck. This product is just not worth your time, money, and energy.

There is nothing HEAVY DUTY about this set. Made of very thin metal and will bend when you use them to dig a hole in the ground.
