Entertaining!
I had not played on of these games since Civilization Revolution, this one definitely comes with more in game moves to make, at first I was a bit confused as to what some of the actions did but once I understood everything, it was the game I expected, got really into the game and couldn't put it down.

Okay but other more entertaining things out there
Kid loved it til the oculus came out and now it sits there collecting dust.so my out look it was entertaining but not as much as the oculus I guess lol.

Great game. Terrible pricing of DLC.
Excellent console port of a fantastic game. I have had a few bugs/crashes on Series X, especially with both expansions running. However the console controls are very intuitive and it has been a great buy. Only con is the ridiculous DLC pricing. You can easily spend $150 for the base game, expansions, and new frontier pass.

Great game
Absolutely amazing product I’ve been stuck playing the old civilization that came out on the 360 and when I saw this I decided it was time to try it out and fell in love with it this is an Amazing game and would definitely recommend buying this.

Great game
I really enjoy Strat games. Sid Meiers Revolution was my last one and this is same theory, but more/different options. You can spend hours/days on one campaign depending on how involved/difficult you want the scenario to be. You have to THINK about every move/research/build/move/interaction with other leaders/terrain/and on and on and on...awesome game.

Need help
Not as user friendly as the original. Needed help figuring out how to play at all.

In a word; Tedious
If you liked Civilization Revolutions, you will not care much for this game I'm afraid. Revolutions had just about the correct level of detail and difficulty. Civ VI seems to relish complexity. If you're an old fart like me, the game is way too complex. If you are new to the series, you will likely not mind the detail. I've had it for about two weeks now and it's been a disappointment. We'll see how it goes.
