OK, this thing rocks.
OK, this thing rocks. Totally saved me. I have back problems causing me to be pretty out of shape at the moment, (plus in late 50's) but I also had major weeding and planting to do. I have other tools but this is the best. Easy to put together, fair price, prongs get deep enough, and the footrest/press is genius. Also, it's strong but not too heavy or too big for me (5'4"). Sort of makes it fun; like gotcha and your whole root too! Will also use for breaking up/mixing/turning over soil, etc. Intruders?

Makes weeding easier and fun.
The centered foot pad is great for saftey and balance, especially for us 'older' folks. The square extension on back allows pressure to be applied at different angles. A slightly longer center prong is a nice touch. Top quality. Now if someone would kindle make a 3-prong version, I'll be the 1st buyer.

Works great
Good for digging up certain vegetables and turning my compost. I even used it to break up ice during a recent storm we had. It’s heavy but sturdy and the metal brace in the bottom helps you not have to bend down so far to break up the ground when using

Good quality, heavybl and useful
This is a great gardening tool. It doesn't feel cheap, and is great for getting deep in to soil. It slightly bent its metal prong on us, but to be fair we were using it to rip out roots of last year's sunflowers, which is a hefty task for any gardening equipment that isn't as much as a car payment.

Like a broadfork but lighter
I had wanted a broadfork but as an elderly arthritic woman feared it would be too heavy for me to use. This fork solves the issue of weight. The step on platform makes it easier than a plain garden fork for loosening soil but it is light enough for me to manage. Very sturdy.

Might be good or turning over garden soil only
The media could not be loaded. I have not used this yet but I want to get some closeups of it before you buy. Welds look a bit rough on the tines, the tines or forks are rather thin but I suspect they slice into the dirt with some ease. If these tines repeatedly hit rocks from the side this will loose it shape after a while. It came well wrapped but the box was overkill for such a small garden tool.Update April 18. 2025..this garden tool works great! Slices throught the dirt with no issues.

Could kick myself in the ass for not buying this sooner
I have a hill full of cactus that have been taunting me for several years. I can’t tell you how many times I have fallen in them and spent days trying to remove those microscopic tines from places on my body that are impossible to reach. THIS is the year that I will take back my property and get rid of those horrendous things. I’ve never felt joy like I did when I used this tool and it so easily lifted those #%$&% cactus out of the soil. Knowing they would no longer be growing in MY yard was a relief beyond measure. The size and weight of this pitch fork was easy to use and the added metal piece near the super sharp tines allowed you to step on it adding additional force. It will definitely be one of my most coveted garden tools.
