After trying other devices that look the same but did not work on my iPhone XS Max. This one DOES work on my iPhone XS Max. If that is the phone you have this is the one to get.

I love this thing! And now I can charge my phone and use wired ear buds at same time! Yay!😁

Works well, I use it daily.

The power receptacle on the splitter is too loose and the USB plug constantly falls out. Very annoying. Spend an extra $1 and buy a better made adapter.

UPDATE: Just now before writing this review I tried using it, and it actually almost broke my phone I think. At least it did something to it that might not be so easy to fix next time. Either way it disabled my ability to use the lightning port. After I was done using it I tried to plug in my phone with a charger and headphones separately, neither were working including the splitter (so technically sound quality IS 1 star). I desperately tried cleaning the port out and it wasn't working. My phone auto shut down and had the Apple logo on as if it knew something was wrong and when it restarted now it works. And no, if I try the splitter again it still doesn't work but I'm not going to keep trying because it might mess up my phone again. My phone was about to die too. Not to mention the review below.I literally was using this for like 20 minutes and wasn't even touching it or messing with or anything and all the sudden I noticed that something was like dislodged inside. The next time I used it it no longer works. You can see that the receiving dock has been dislodged from the housing. The charging port no longer works and the purpose of the thing is defeated. Maybe if the product wasn't stupid and allowed you to plug either a charger or headphones into either one of the ports, I could still charge it while using an aux cord instead of the lightning cable headphones, which I have a few of when they become obsolete. It still makes me very mad that Apple decided to get rid of the aux input, it makes it difficult for us to use both headphones and charge, and having both of those cables plugged in used to make it easier to hold the phone especially when laying down. I'm giving a 1 for sound quality because this doesn't effect sound quality either way in my experience so there is no way to judge the sound quality it shouldn't be graded on that unless I'm missing something. However its function has become lost so therefore no sound will be going through this because there is no point of using it if it cannot take 2 lighting ports, it's like asking the engined performance quality of a car with no wheels or axel, you can't drive it even if you can start the engine. Also if you have a serious complaint ALWAYS give 1 star for everything and offer to change the review to a higher rating, it's the only way that they will ever actually read the review, it's foolish to give more than 1 star if you have a serious issue. So I say I will change this if the product is replaced.

It’s nice to be able to charge and listen to music at the same time.The only reason I gave this a four star is because sometimes when the car starts an electric tone Is heard through the radio until it’s unplugged or the phone plugged in.

The lighting cable doesn’t snuggly fit into the female part if the Jack. It “rests” in there and falls out easily. Useless for doing two things at once.

I bought this because I love streaming movies/ videos on my iphone at night but I always seem to run out of phone battery by the evening. Since there’s only one lightning port I’d have to charge my phone instead of using the lightning earbuds. Basically I was forced to browse while charging. So I bought this triple adapter to be able to charge my phone and watch movies or listen to music at the same time, and I can use my lightning earbuds OR I can use my older analog earbuds if I want too! It’s a little bulky not a big issue if your just sitting somewhere, also the adapter is travel friendly, and been going strong for a couple months without issue. Good sound and connection, great product!Edit: June 1st update. So it’s been 6 months and it just stopped working last week. It wasn’t particularly expensive BUT I had hoped it would last longer than it did. It was a great adapter while it lasted but I’d only recommend it as a short term solution and you need something inexpensive.
