Very comfortable and flexible
I was looking for a mid-length boot that would stand up to hard pavement, a lot of walking, would feel close to sneakers and not be as restricted as my SWAT combat boots (which are also great)Obviously they have better ankle support and stability compared to sneakers but feel only a bit heavier. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and post op complications so I need to wear custom orthotics which make them even better. If you don't have foot problems, you'd do okay with the provided insoles. As expected, these provide a lot more flexibility in the crouching position compared to my 11 hole combat boots and are a bit more breathable. I do prefer to wear my combat boots in the winter and whenever I need to pass thru tall grass or get sidetracked on the woods. The keens are perfect and beat my boots or sneakers for all other circumstances -mowing the lawn, tinkering in garage, shed or basement, crawling around in attic, and working on ladders or a roof. I also like the non slip and electrical insulation soles they provide. I actually got two pairs of keens, one waterproof and one non-waterproof. I was planning to return one but decided to keep them both. I favor the non-waterproof ones a bit more just because they feel a tad bit lighter and more flexible, but maybe that's just me. You can't go wrong with either. I'll be looking to buy another pair in the future when the time comes.

Comfortable and feels great
After nearly 35 years on my feet, I was looking for something more comfortable than my wolverines I’ve worn for years. I had keen hiking boots and loved them for their fit and light weight. These boots were ranked highest for best breathable work boot. I live in central Texas and work outside, it’s HOT. THESE THINGS ARE LIKE STANDING IN A CLOUD. !!!! They are not light at all, but very comfortable. My feet run wide and keen fits me well in standard sizes. They are supposed to be waterproof too, feet weren’t all sweaty like in leather boots today . Their oil resistant sole isn’t quite as non slip as my wolverines, but predictable and no surprises. Not bad, not bad. Can’t wait to see how they hold up. I usually get just over a year from my work boots. If they stay this comfy, I’ll wear them longer !

Good work boots but has some cons
I recently purchased these work boots and after breaking them in, I have mixed feelings about them. While the boots do have some pretty good features, it also has a few drawbacks. One of the key features of these work boots is the waterproof leather material. I found this to be quite effective in keeping my feet dry, even when working in wet conditions. The moisture-wicking lining also did a decent job of keeping my feet comfortable and preventing excessive sweating. However, I did notice that the boots took a while to dry out after being exposed to water, which was a bit inconvenient. Another safety feature of these boots is the slip and oil-resistant sole. I appreciated the added traction and stability this provided, especially when working on slippery surfaces. It definitely enhanced my confidence in terms of avoiding accidents and maintaining my balance. I must admit, though, I noticed some signs of wear and tear, particularly in areas that were exposed to oil and grease, so long-term durability could be an issue if working under these conditions regularly. Comfort-wise, these boots are somewhat average. The fit was true to size, and the padding provided a decent level of support. The boots were a bit on the heavy side, which caused some fatigue during long workdays, but I've grown accustomed to this over time.

Durable and comfortable
Nice fit great grip, I can be on my feet the whole day and still feels good. Durable to withstand anything I have thrown at them. I would by another pair.

Didn't last a year
Purchased these boots because they were recommended by someone I work with. They were a nice boot and comfortable while they lasted ...But I just ordered them in December of 2022 and the soles are tearing apart from the the rest of the boot.I was hoping to get longer then a year out of them but I guess not. Not sure if I would buy again

Great But Crazy Squeaky
Everything else is great about this boot. However, the infernal squeaking on any surface that is even slightly slick, not even wet, is about to make me resign this to yard work only.

Very comfortable. I was impressed.
On my feet all day at work. Would definitely recommend this boot. Warm, waterproof, CSA safety certification missing though. Overall very satisfied. UPDATE: it's been 6 months and the cuff above the heel is shredded. Not going to purchase from Keen again...they last as long as a shoe that costs half as much. Also the soles are not rubber and have zero traction on ice. Not as warm as I thought they'd be once temperatures dropped below 0°

An outstanding worthwhile consideration for outdoor work site use
This is a 'true to size' shoe with minimum tolerance.Likes:Waterproof capabilityNo discomfort at toe section due to wide cut with all around protectionDefinitely looks greatShortfall:Even though the shoe is grippy ( like all good keen material) and works faultlessly on terrain surface, it can slip momentarily on marble or cemented floor due to sole pattern profile which has less floor to shoe area of contactRequire oiling if you need to preserveRequire a ' break in' period for the shoe to mould to wearer; may experience discomfort till then especially for high arc feetCould have a better shoe lace systemInsole is swappable but do get a thin to medium thickness profile alternative as too thick of an insole can result in less fittment to the heel and translate to a heel ' lift off' from within the shoe as you move
