Battery for 2012 Macbook Air
I just wanted to say that I was nervous about ordering this battery. This is the CHEAPEST battery for a 2012 Macbook Air, and it does not have any reviews on Amazon. So, it is time for me to leave a review for it.I got this MacBook Air off of Facebook Marketplace for $250. The system came with the ORIGNAL battery. The battery only had 420 charge cycles before failing. So it was time to change the battery on the computer. The NinjaBatt included everything that you need to replace the battery. The kit included the Battery, T5 Torx, and a P5 Pentolable screwdriver.A couple of things that I recommend, if you are trying this your self. Get your self an iFixIt Pro Tech Toolkit, look up the guide on iFixIt, and look up Call2Recycel to find a local recycling center. If I have any issues with the battery within the next year, I will go ahead and update this post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Works great so far!!
Took a risk considering the price on this, but am so far suprised and impressed. It seems like NinjaBatt has a full line up so I bought for my Macbook Air (2012). Came in a the box that is pictured and packed very securely. Branding and merchandising gave me confidence when opening this up.Battery has been doing excellent. My Macbook had no issues recognizing it. It reads the %'s perfectly. I followed the recommendations that came in the box for "cycling" the battery at the beginning. It's worked great.I almost took 1 star down because the tools provided were cheap. One of them chipped and broke while taking out it's 3rd screw. The other larger one (used for unscrewing the battery) held up just fine--but I really bought this for the battery and it's been working perfectly. I've had the battery installed and working for about 3 weeks now. Will update post if anything stops working.

Really surprisingly nice quality, especially considering the price.
With the caveat that I only installed it a week ago, this seems to be a surprisingly good quality replacement battery for my mid-2012 MacBook Air. Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t even seriously consider replacing the battery in an 8+ year old computer, but there is nothing else wrong with it, and for the fifty bucks it’s a bargain to give the kids the ability to use it untethered again. The included pentalobe screwdrivers were the usual single-use quality you should expect with these kits, but they did the job without damaging the screws. There were no printed instructions included, though doubtless good video instructions online that could/should be used instead. The battery cells themselves are mounted to a high quality frame, almost identical to the original unit. The MacBook recognizes the battery itself and can seemingly communicate with it the same way it did with original. Battery life is seemingly identical to the original when it was new. It even came with ~65% charge on the cells, so it wasn’t sitting in stock for long. The question is really only one of lifespan; the original battery still worked somewhat at 8 years old. Will this one? No idea. Though if it fails in the next 2 years I’ll be back to update the review. All in all I have a hard time finding fault. I’m very happy indeed with this.

4 hour battery
The packaging looks good, as well as the battery itself. It comes with needed screw drivers to remove the screws to replace the old battery. It fits well in the computer. But the reason for 2 star is due to the battery's endurance. I know that if the battery is working up to it's capacity, the computer should last ~7 hours. I only get ~4 hours. It is better than what I tried before (a different battery only lasted ~3 hours). So if you're ok with 4 hours, then it is well worth it for the price. As for me I need something that will last 7 hours. I'm planning on returning it.

Well worth it
This would be a five-star review, except that I thought there would be some installation instructions included in the package. There weren't. It's easy enough to find an instructional video from another seller on YouTube using your model number, however, so not a problem. One tip -- for both sets of screws, there are two to three longer ones in addition to the many shorter ones. Be sure to remember where these longer ones go when you replace the battery and the cover. Also, be very careful about holding onto the small screws on the supplied screwdriver. If one falls off close to the magnetic charging port, it will get sucked in there and it's not super easy to get it back out.All that said, the batter worked and has continued to work great, like new. And it came with 87% charge.

So easy to install even for beginners like me
So far so good! It was extremely easy to install watching a YouTube video and I felt high accomplished after I installed it lol just because I was afraid of the whole process but I’m telling you it’s too easy! I used the inside plastic part of the box the battery came in to separate the sizes of screws taken out the laptop so I could remember where they came from and where even though it’s simple to remember where most came from. Battery life is great right so far but it’s been only a day. I will update If there are any problems to report otherwise so far I am glad to have my 2015 MacBook Air working again and the battery not discharging so quickly like the old battery did.One Week Update 1/19/21:So it has been officially one week and I can say this battery does last very well when not on the charger for a day and used for internet browsing and homework. I bring it to work after using it at home beforehand and by the time I get home the battery still has a significant amount of life left instead of draining due to not being on a charger all before and after work. This battery is great and now that I see it is on sale, if you are in the market for a replacement for your MacBook get one now!

Time will tell
After reading all the reviews on replacement laptop batteries for my MacBook Air 2017. I went for this one because it had the highest percentage of 5 stars. Not very scientific I know. It arrived next day, it was easy to fit, the 2.4 mm screws are a little bit fiddly, all in all it took me 20 minutes, I took time to clean out the accumulated dust. Surprisingly it came charged up to about 85%, but I fully charged. I started using it at about 4 o'clock 3 and a half hours later it was down to 53%. So time will tell but at the moment it is looking good.Update 4/11/20: I am very pleased with this replacement battery, I am averaging a good 6 hours per charge.Update 31/7/21: After 260 charge cycles, full charge lasts approximately 2 hours and says " service recommended '. Not very good will not be buying again. If it is only going to last 8 months there are cheaper ones on the market. This now only rates a 2 star.

I don't notice any difference from the Apple battery
I bought this battery because the original battery in my MacBook suddenly stopped working (stopped charging and stopped powering my MacBook with the power cable) and I haven't noticed any difference from the factory battery.I use my MacBook for work and almost always have the charger plugged in, so I don't know what the battery life is like if unplugged for a long period of time - I have only done this once when I had to work from home and didn't have my charger and the battery lasted all day for spreadsheets, emails and general internet browsing. The battery was extremely easy to change, 10 minutes. At 30% the cost of the Apple store for a replacement, this is excellent value of money and it the need ever arises I would definitely buy again.

Very easy to replace, and I’m no technical expert
Reassuringly matched exactly the MacAir battery I was removing. Very easy to switch with the magnetised screwdrivers provided. Checking in ‘system information’ I can see the battery is recognised and functioning 100%. Took 10 minutes to replace, most that fiddling with the preposterously small screws. Make sure you do this on a clean, flat service so you don’t lose them. Official Apple repair centre quoted £129 but they needed to keep the laptop overnight which was inconvenient. Tip: check the model number on the back of the casing - it corresponds to the battery description.

Super easy install. Seems good.
Amazingly quick delivery, ordered about 24 hours ago and it's already installed. Install took about 15 - 20 minutes and was a prety fun job to do. Expect dust! good idea to plan a little clean while the back is off. Some of the screws are fiddly and difficult to refit if the battery isn't set perfectly.

Finger weg - Produktionsdatum des gelieferten Akkus 3. Januar 2011 - in 2 Wochen zehn Jahre alt !!!
