Waterbrush connoisseur
I I think I have every brand of water brush that has been made. I really like these brushes. The water flows into the barrel and then comes down through the brush. Many other brushes don't do that. The water comes out the side and drips down onto your paper. These brushes have a responsive tip and have worked very well for me for at least a month. I'm not saying that they compare to my spendy sable brushes, but they are great on the fly!I don't understand why anyone would leave a water pen on its side ON their artwork. It seems obvious to me that you would store a water pen with ink in it or water for that matter right side up. That being said I have never had water leak out of my pens into the cap. I do keep them in the plastic sleeve that they came in. All in all I think these are terrific pens for travel. Again, the plastic sleeve that they come in is very convenient for travel and for keeping them organized, right-side up and easy to find in my bag.By the way, Sakura's waterbrush barrel unscrews counterclockwise. I'm not sure why so many we're confused by this. I can't believe people rated these 3 stars because they couldn't figure that out!!

Great pens that do not leak!
These pens are very easy to use, although you need to keep in mind that Chromatek pens open up clockwise, not counterclockwise. The tips do stain, however that doesn't affect their cleanliness. I have pens that are stained green at the base, but I can paint yellow and pink without any contamination. I use plastic syringe/pipettes to fill them up and they are good to go.

Good brushes for beginners, unfortunate manufacturing error, but would still recommend
They work as expected. I’m not super well-versed in watercolors so I’m not sure of all the nuances of the medium, but they’re brushes and they work and that’s what matters to me at this point. They’re pretty intuitive; you unscrew the brush, fill it with water, put it back together, squeeze the middle to release droplets of water, and get to painting. The wallet that hold the brushes is also a plus for artists on the go.I took one star off because one of the brushes came damaged and can’t be used. However I can just screw that top to a different barrel so I’m not returning it. I imagine it’s just some manufacturing error, so I’m not too pressed about it.Overall a good product especially for beginners to watercolor who don’t want to splurge on fancier brushes yet.

Great Versatile Watercolor Paint Brush Set!
This aqua pen set is perfect for any watercolor enthusiast. I'm a newbie to watercolor painting, but I love this set because it provides several different brush shapes and sizes making it easy to paint both small and large intricate images. These are easy to use and I love the fact that you simply have to fill each pen with a little tap water. No worrying about having a cup of water nearby. It's easier and more mess free. They are good quality and easy to use. I highly recommend this paint brush pen set for anyone who enjoys watercolor painting whether your a pro at it or someone who is just starting out.

Excellent waterbrush pens
These are better than a major craft company's. Easy to use and very versatile with the various sizes.

Meh. I’ve used them, they’re ok, but the tips are just meh.

Makes painting a breeze
These pens come in 6 varied sizes and shapes. There are 2 brush pens that are great for water washes and the others are quite nice too. There is a squared narrow that makes for nice broad strokes without getting too big. It also has this lovely narrow tip that makes for nice details! The pens are easy to fill and fun to use. My daughter wanta to steal them... And once my artist friends see them, they will want to steal. My goodness! I can't wait to try them, not just with my water markers but my cakes and tubes!

Quality and Value that any Artist will appreciate!
A great assortment of brush sizes and brush styles allow the artist to quickly create large areas of wash or easily define details. Video tutorials, available on the Chromatek website, explain how to use the pens and show different techniques that can be used for various effects.A great addition to my pallate box! I can use these with my current watercolor paints for both painting and blending. The compact size means that the brushes are convenient for Plein Aire painting, also.
