British Wildlife Photography Awards 10

I was really looking forward to receiving this book, but when it arrived I was disappointed.Since it is called British Wildlife Photography Awards I didn't expect it to contain some pretty average landscape shots. I was surprised to find that four blue tit photos made the cut, but wait for it... two photos of a common brown rat shot by the roadside with same camera at the same time were deemed highly commended. We have a starling on a shopping trolley and an out of focus goat on an old slate quarry.The book contained about thirty or so photographs which were indeed stunning and to be expected from a publication of this title but overall pretty average images, indeed the junior photography section tagged on at the end is more inspiring. I would return it if I could.

Very happy with book and service

Designed in the same size as the previous nine years, so they fit nicely as a set. The cover is coated to resist moisture - hey it's a heavy book! And the camera metadata is now on the same page next to the photos, with the photographers description of how/when/why the shot was taken. Quality.

An excellent and provocative selection of photos. A worthy addition to any collection.
