Perfect fit and replacement. Make sure you do both when you replace because if 1 fails, the other is likely not far behind.

I guess the good news is the cost was half what GE parts suppliers wanted.The bad news, as you can see, this set of handles did not come with the small white cap that covers the bottom screw.Because it took too long to receive this order, I won't return it, and I guess I will try to ignore the missing cover.This GE refrigerator is about 10 years old, and this is the second handle I needed to replace. Plus, you have to buy both, but it has always been the handle for the refrigerator that fails, not the freezer.

Hopefully these will hold up. As with the originals the design is likely to fail sooner or later. At least these knock offs are a fraction of the price of the originals. Time will tell is they hold up. Easy to install. Just a few Phillips style screws.

Last year, and the true white didn't match with the fridge.In the photo, THIS handle is the one already installed. The broken new handle from last year I am holding up next to it.The bad:. These are all plastic garbage. This model, and all the others, and even the originals. There are no sturdy options being sold. It's just a subscription now: every year, order new handles. I tell you, of someone offers a steel option replacement I'd give them $60 so we would just be done here.
