So tasty
The flavors are excellent, the sizes impressive, the calorie content high but if you don't care about a diet they're fantastic.I only order them if there will be help eating them or I'd be tempted to eat them all myself.

If heaven was a cookie.....
I bought 2 of these. One was for me, and my housekeeper. Another was for my friend. Every bite was chewy, moist, a bit crisp, and butter. Yes, the butter in these gems is so rich. My friend absolutely loved every cookie down to the crumbs. Only gripe is a few on top were broken. Considering how far they traveled, and how many times they were handled, if I were a cookie, i'd crumble, too. I'm definitely getting more of these lil bits of cookie bliss in the future. Thank you, Davids.

Something changed
Something changed with Davids. I'm not sure what happened. I've been buying these cookies for around 5 to 7 years. In the beginning, they came shipped in round tins without the plastic cradle and plastic seal. They were just cookies in a tin with wax paper between the layers. They were very good, as if they were literally just baked before shipping. Everyone who tried them, loved them. The last few times over the last 1-2 years though, each batch I bought was now in a tin, in a plastic container under a plastic film for freshness obviously, but they did not taste the same anymore. Its now as if you are buying supermarket cookies off the shelf somewhere. I dont know if they changed the ingredients or started producing these in bulk and storing them somewhere before finally shipping but there is a very big difference in taste. They are also now less moist it seems to me, they are borderline hard where in the past they had been soft and with a good flavor (Back then you could taste the butter!). In fact, I would argue, your grocery bakery dept cookies are fresher and taste better vs how Davids are today. Davids 6 years ago is another story. So, while they are still good, I cannot say they are worth the cost anymore. 12 large cookies that are on par with Keebler does not really warrant that price point anymore. Not like the David's of old.

Yummy!
The cookies came in a nice tin. Unfortunately, the tin came bent. The cookies were nicely wrapped up. Some of the cookies were broken. But, they will not go to waste! They are yummy!

Pricey but delicious
Appreciated how well packed and sealed these were. Super good cookies but not worth the $ spent for them. They were, however better than expected. They were soft like I like cookies to be. None were crumbled or broken, so great packing!

Freeze the cookies if you can’t finish them within two days.
I really liked the oatmeal raisin cookies. They were crispy on the outer edge and soft in the middle. After a couple of days they were very crispy all the way through. They just seemed too dry. I froze the crispy ones and plan on making ice cream sandwiches with them. They should get softer that way.
