This will be a brief review focusing only on the poor formatting of the Kindle version, and should not reflect on the excellent content of the book itself. To be clear, I absolutely love this book, but the Kindle version is lacking:I own the large paperback version and just got the Kindle version. The formatting is just absolutely horrible. The images are not all presented properly and some are cut off. Most are left justified and many of the figure captions are not aligned properly. Text does not flow properly around the images and you will find sentences that just cut off and resume on another page, or two later. There are dramatic typos such as "Kotating" instead of "Rotating". The chapter titles are jammed right against the text and it looks horrible.Overall I am not happy with the Kindle version and wish I could have my money back. This book is one of the finest available about the works of the late Nikola Tesla, but the Kindle version is not worth even the small amount of money it sells for. I suppose if you cannot find another version, you might buy this. If you have the chance, get the hardcover or paperback. It truly is a fascinating read.

Too boring and difficult to read for any length of time. Save your money and stay with autobiographies . He was a fantastic inventor.

Horrible product. Just a bunch of photocopies bound into a book. Words and pictures are not even legible.

This book is in the public domain, and you can download a copy directly from Gutenberg.org, including formatted for the Kindle. Check out the quality of the images in the html format. Save a buck, buy something else. I am rating the price not the book.

Terrible print quality. If I had to guess looks like someone borrowed an original version of Tesla's book from the library scanned and printed it. Very difficult to read and sketches are almost illegible.

one of my sons is a follower of Tesla, an under estimated and unspoken hero of our times. It's wonderful.
