I bought this to take to my second home abroad. I put it in my hand luggage and as a result of it being an electrical item my bag was emptied and searched little did I remember at the time, I had hidden a key in there, ironically so i did not lose it as it was for my friends friends apartment, when they searched it they seemed to have lost it and i did not speak to my friend for days in case she was upset with me, turned out she had a copy but just be warned if you take it abroad do not put it in hand luggage and if you have a key do not hide it inside it. its a great grinder though and managed to survive worldwide travel and the mysteries of lost keys.

Update: i contacted customer service and they were great about returning it and getting a new one. As per below, its fantastic when it works so looking forward to seeing if this was a defective model.I got to use it about 5 times before today. I would mostly yse it to grind two batches at a time (filled to its max line) and i would store those and not use the machine again for a week or so before i needed tongrind another batch. It worked well, and i was quite happy with it.Today, as i was grinding i smelled burning (i was grinding maybe for 20 seconds at that point). Stopped grinding inspected the machine. Nope nothing looks wrong just that funny melting rubber smell. Continued grinding the batch and smoke started coming out. Crap. I knew this was goimg to be it. Last batch because this machine has burned itself out....in just over a month of use!!!!Went back after letting it cool down to see if i could finish the batch and no such luck.

Wanted one that detached as easy to pour into coffee peculator. Also if you want to store in fridge you can in jar with its lid on. This looks amazing. Classy, quality and works superb.

This is such a cute but powerful piece of kitchen equipment. It works fantastically as a spice grinder and is so easy to clean and use. I highly recommend you get this over any of the others advertised on Amazon. Reasonably priced and very helpful customer service too.

I bought this coffee grinder to primarily grind spices. I am an avid cook and love buying my spices whole and grinding them at home. It is easy to use and clean. For the price I am very happy with my purchase.

So far used to grind spices worked perfectly. Blade grind in compact way rather swishing every where, low in sound,strong seal lid easy to clean, two speed excellent to grind coarse or fine. Satisfied with value as well.

Purchased this products as I wanted to have powerful seeds grinder and coffee mill in one. I must say it is! Grinds coffee much smoothier then my old grinder (however this one is much more powerful 350W compared to my standard 150W grinder). Yes, it's bit noisy, as described, but I would compromise it for it's power . Have been using it for few weeks so its too little time to tell about it's durability and reliability. Overally satisfied.
