Three words to begin with: efficient, convenient and versatile.I am a camping enthusiast, and this stove is just the best stove I have ever owned. Compared to little stoves I had before, this cooking system just boils water much faster than any other stoves. I clocked the boil time for about 0.5L of water at 2 min 12 secs, almost half time quicker than other portable propane stoves. Certainly it saves a lot of fuel and surely good enough for a 5-day pack light trek.The stove system comes with a gas canister tripod, a pan support, a stove burner, a pot with heat exchanger, a frying pan and a strong stuff sack. Almost everything you need for camping cooking. The system stands steadily with the canister tripod, even it’s on uneven ground like in the woods. The pan support is really convenient that it allows me to use bigger pans to cook meals, or to use the little pan that comes with it to fry eggs. It’s interesting that if you put the lid reversed on the pot and reverse the pan on top of it, you are good to steam your food. Pretty smart. Finally and thankfully, it has a stuff sack that does me a big favor! It’s lots of stuff and you really want a bag that carries everything.Frankly I am pleasantly surprised that this product only sells for $58 but got tons of stuff inside. With no doubt this is the greatest value propane stove on Amazon. Plus, this is a quality product that works perfect without a single problem. I am kind of hesitant to try a new brand but it turns out that this one doesn’t let me down. So if you want to save money and get a reliable stove, trust me this is the one you want.

Like: Compared to jet boil, includes pot holder ($10 adder). Boils up a little slower, but you might be able to simmer food better. Wider cylinder allows heating Indian food that you boil in unopen packets to cook. If you leave the pot holder at home, you can carry the larger 230 g fuel cannister within the assembly. Otherwise, buy the smaller 100 g cannister. Ignition lighter worked great. Very stable with fuel stand and cylinder locks to burner. Main cylinder is insulated.Dislike: I wish the foldouts for the pot holder could fold to give lower vertical profile when not in use.Planned uses: Day hiking and backpacking. Make hot beverage (tea/coffee), or cook food.Overall: Nice product for the price. I can probably scrap my old mess kit completely.

This is a good stove, with a major caveat. It is easy to use.Do not anticipate using this for more than a cup at a time. If it is filled up more than halfway it will boil over the sides. The pan should not be used as a skillet. Food will burn and stick to the bottom, despite the lowest flame setting and plenty of oil.It will make a cup of boiling water VERY fast and you can rehydrate a cup of soup.

Great little camping stove. Boils water very fast which conserves fuel. I love that the pot connects to the burner so that it doesn't slide off if used on an unlevel surface. I also like the insulating material around the pot which makes it easier to hold when hot. You do have to tighten the burner piece into the fuel can pretty tight to get the fuel to come out.

I loved this APG Hulk for my hunting in backpacking country. It was lightweight and heated water for my tea and my meals in a bag. I highly recommend the hulk for my outdoor enthusiast's friends, you'll not be disappointed! I was impressed with how quickly it heated water, wow! That's all I can say is wow!!!!

This stove works perfectly. It boils water super fast, roughly 1 minute to boil a full pot of water. The piezo ignition works great as it lit up the first time I pressed the button. It’s easy to use and very compact. Great craftsmanship and beautifully designed. Came with lots of useful accessories that just made cooking easier. Great price and great quality. Highly recommend!!

This is a solid product for anyone interested in lightweight backpacking. Used it this past weekend and was hot fast and stored away quick and easy. Only thing that could be better is a improved gas release lever. But for the price point I’m not sure you can really beat this.

1/12/2020: Dead on arrival. Bought as a Christmas gift, but did not work despite trying 3 different brands of fuel. We'll see how the seller handles the RMA request.
