Over the Moon
Please note I'm not reviewing the quality of the products only the Advent Calendar 2019. I wanted to try the new Essie gel nail polish which is 10£ each so I thought I might as well just buy this product for 34£ as it was a daily deal during Black Friday week. I'm honestly over the moon with the content, it's soooo generous from Essie. I cheated a bit and watched a review on Youtube so sort of knew what I can expect. However the colours really show in real life only. Some people might say there's a bit too much red in the box, but honestly they are not the same, one fuchsia-like, one red and one deep red. 8 full size products, 9 mini ones, and some filling gifts. For me, only 1 is disappointing, I can use the rest of them. Lovely colours, quite a few of them I don't have and sooo happy to try. Also base coat, top coat, oil. From the gel type they included one nail polish and the top coat which I would have bought anyway. It also includes shiny sparking bits which are great for the festive season. Fantastic feeling to open each little box and take out the brand new shiney little bottles. Update: tried some colours, gorgeous pink and some spark. Pretty impressed.

Good value for money. I used essie for a while and was always happy how long last, but buying separately range of colours is quite pricey.

Poorly constructed, unpopular varnishes, mixed in with cheap Christmas Xmas decorations - avoid.
Despite being under £50, this is just not worth the money. If you have a bit more money, then you’re advised to look elsewhere.

Disappointed
Some of the items were disappointing e.g, a piece of ribbon!!! Will not buy again.

Not enough dark colours
Really good. Only criticism was a lot of pink and red polishes and no dark polished. Could have done with less pink and red and more dark colours for my 13 year old

Shocked and appalled
I bought this advent calendar for my teenage daughter and she was horrified to discover that two of the doors so far were empty!!!! She loves Christmas and Essie but feels extremely upset and let down by this! We will NOT be purchasing this item again.
