Nixtamalized Cornmeal from 100% Natural Purple Corn - Harina de Maiz Azul Nixtamalizado NATURELO 1Kg

This item was more wholesome and satiating than the regular yellow masa harina that I was used to. It didn't get as dry when stale. It was more expensive than the yellow one but I reccommend it any day.

If you know the Nixtamal flavour you will get it with this brand. Great taste, blue corn is delicious. Really enjoy making my own tortillas.

I actually made a complaint to the seller when I recieved this flour, because it says blue corn on the label (maiz azul), but then when I checked the ingredients it says '100 % mexican white corn'. Apperently, they use a small producer who uses the same printed bags for the purple and the white corn, but sticks a 'MAIZ AZUL' sticker on the purple cornmeal ones. I thought I'd mention it so nobody else has to make a twit out of themselves by sending a complaint.

We love this and will buy it again. However, please use more glue on the box - ours had come open and the bag nearly fell out.

Bag was not sealed at base - masa all over the contents. Not happy that cannot return it, very expensive to waste.

Absolutely delicious reminds me of Mexico shall be buying again. My tacos and tortillas come out lovely ☺️

Flavour in the cornmeal was delicious, made incredible tacos. Highly recommend

Made tortillas and had them with beef barbacoa, salsa and grated cheese - one of the best things I've tasted, and perfect if you're not good with wheat
