I bought these for my son, for Christmas. He only used them for only 4 months, and they need to be replaced already. The cheap plastic pieces started breaking within the first couple of uses, and kept it up with every ride. They literally just snap to pieces with normal use - no crashes. For the amount of money they cost, I would expect to get at least an entire season out of them. But no. Halfway through the riding season and they’re completely useless trash. Do NOT waste your money on these.

I’ve now been using these for four months and they are superb. Comfy, light and rigid yet they seem to allow you to undertake riding forgetting they are on. Highly recommend.
