Excellent resource for non-derm docs
I bought this a while ago and wanted to wait to review it until both my husband and I had a chance to use it. We are both residents in different specialties (neither of us is derm), and we both LOVE this guide. Dr. Shaath’s attention to detail is evident, and the card is well-organized and easy to use. I can’t believe how much he managed to fit on here! Great resource to keep in a white coat pocket - may even save us a derm consult or two!

Very very cool!
I was surprised at how organized each section or subject was, to include treatment options in the right order, with the more invasive procedures as last option. This guide is perfect! I am learning things that haven’t been covered in my educational training curriculum yet. I’ll be ahead of the game 🙏I recommend the pocket guide.

5th edition
I got the 5th edition, which is better than the last edition. Nice to have as a quick reference for a new derm NP. The one I like most is the specific labs that need to be done prior to and while on immunosuppressants.

Not as useful as I hoped
Not as helpful as I hoped. No real guide, just lists of meds.

Great content, average to mediocre making
I think the contents of this product are superb. It's written in a concise manner and I can see how it can be incredibly helpful in the clinical setting. However I do not think it is very well made. My guide came like this, and as I tried to peel off the bar code, the paper and writing beneath began to peel off, so I left it as was. Also, you can see that it is bent. It came like this even though it is "new." Having it in the white coat may be a problem, as things bend and get shuffled around. I'm not sure this material can sustain that for very long. I wish it was laminated (I was hoping it would be). If you purchase this product, I'd recommend laminating it for durability (though this will add an extra cost - although not significant one).
