Affordable, stylish, and comfortable
I was a little hesitant to buy this initially because I've never bought such a large piece of furniture online before, let alone an Amazon branded one. I'm happy I did! The cough itself came packaged very well so there was zero percent chance of it becoming damaged on its trip to my apartment. And setting it up was a breeze- there's a small pocket on the underside of the couch that holds the legs, you take them out and screw them on and voila! Note- one of the legs is shorter than the others and is supposed to be in the center of the couch. Be wary of this or you'll have an uneven couch! Some reviews online were talking about how uncomfortable this couch was, and It's firm but still soft to be comfortable. I don't want to sit on a hard bench but I don't want to sink into a goose down pillow either, and the firmness is just right. I've sat on it for hours at this point and I've never had any issues with comfort. And the looks- it looks EXACTLY like the photos, and feels very high quality as well. I've already had a few compliments from friends that would come over, and one of them (who works as an interior designer) was aghast when I told her it was an AMAZON brand couch. She said it looks just like some high-end couches she buys for her clients! I think that alone was enough for me to love this couch, especially when you consider it's 1/2 to 1/3 the price of similar couches. TLDR- Great quality, comfy, and very affordable. Buy it if you want a mid century couch at an affordable price tag.

Mom of littles approved!
We’ve had our couch for 2 months now. I LOVE it so much! It’s beautiful, the leather is soft, but not too soft. It’s naturally aging with marks so nicely. I appreciate the detailed seams on the sides and back of the couch. It makes it a pretty couch to see when approaching it in an open concept living room like ours. The couch is firm, but comfortable and is nicely breaking in. My husband is 6’4” so the couch is a bit short in the back but nothing that bothers him. We got the 86’ couch since our room is so large and it fit great! I love that my 6 kids can’t pull off all the seat cushions and throw them around lol! I love that it can easily be cleaned up of spills or the not so pleasant things kids can do that ruin fabric couches. The color is gorgeous!! Get this couch if you want one that looks very similar to the Poly and Bark couch!

Came Damaged with a Tear - Is Stiff - Good Style - Tan Leather - Easy Delivery
TL;DR: The couch came with a large rip, but was otherwise as I expected when I ordered. My expectations were pretty well set from looking at photos and reading other reviews. The couch may be a little stiffer than I expected but I knew it would be stiff. I'm hoping, as others have hoped in reviews, that the cushions soften a little bit over time. This is a decent leather couch, definitely stiff at first but the style looks good in our room and the leather seems to be of good quality. The stitching-- a little thin but time will tell., INITIALLY the leather was dry but not bad. On first impressions we really dig the color and style of it. Our couch came brand new in the box with a large (hand-sized) tear in the breathable fabric near the seam on the hidden back-side of the couch. Luckily the cushion will cover it-- but we will need to figure out the best way to close it so that it doesn't continue to rip more. So that was the biggest disappointment with this couch so far (day 1). Something cool about this couch is that it comes fully assembled except the feet and cushions (so fully assembled), and the bottom cushion is 1 piece and is apparently stitched onto the couch. So no adjusting. I used a good 2 step leather cleaner and conditioner right after getting it set up. That really helped the feel of the leather and even the look-- I recommend doing this. You should clean and condition all the leather once every 6 months to keep it gucci. Overall I think it was a little expensive to have a large tear in a spot where your weight will go, but if it were shipped without the damage I would probably recommend the couch to a friend. We don't necessarily feel like going through the return process for this rip as it is at least out of "sight" (behind the cushions). Delivery service was good, called me and ended up coming to my house early since they were in the area which worked well for me. They were helpful and brought it just inside my front door for me when I asked (I have a recently broken toe at the moment). Put the couch together in moments and it was set up.

Great couch, unbelievable price
I was somewhat expecting to be disappointed in this couch and thought the price was too good to be true, but overall (1st month) we have been very happy with the quality, comfort, and appearance of this couch. We wanted leather to hold up to our dog and have easy cleaning, but were also trying to stay in the under $1k range, couldn't believe we found a top grain leather option at this price - So far so good! Of course it does show scratches, but this is to be expected and we're fine with it or we wouldn't let the dog on the couch ;)

Great couch!
This review is for the brown/tan (cognac) leather version of the Rivet Aiden Tufted Mid-Century sofa, 86.6". First of all, it is quite amazing to me to receive a couch in the mail. Never would I have imagined this a possibility when I was a younger. Thank you internet! The shipping was not the typical 2 day prime delivery, we still received the couch timely within a week. After shopping around in stores and online, we found this couch to be the style that we liked (mid-century modern). This is very similar to a model sold by Article.com (Sven), but the Amazon couch is a much better price. The biggest difference I found between the Article couch is that the Article couch backing was filled with feathers, but the Rivet couch is foam. Not a deal breaker for us, so we opted for the Rivet couch that is $400 less money. I read some long-term reviews on the Article couch that the soft plushness of the feathers eventually loses it's fill volume, and ended up not keeping good support, so we are fine with the foam filling in the Rivet Aiden. One other difference I found was that the bottom seat cushion is not removable with the Rivet Aiden, but the Article couch was removable. If that is a deal breaker for you, then don't consider this couch, as the cushion is permanently affixed. Also, the back cushions are not leather on all sides, so this may be another deal breaker for some. The back cushions have a fabric on part of the back side, so you cannot flip the cushions if one side gets trashed. We didn't find any leather couches in this price range that were all leather on all sides of the cushions, so that may be a feature for the next price tiers of leather couches. The foam in the cushions feels not too firm, but not too soft; a nice medium plushness. We bought a soft couch in the past that wore it's foam plushness thin after 4 years, so we were glad to have a slightly firmer cushion to hopefully last a longer time. The wooden framework feels sturdy, and appears like it will last a long time. We recently received the couch, so time will tell. As mentioned by other reviewers, the legs come shipped within the bottom of the couch (see picture with this review). There is a zipper that opens up from the bottom, and the legs are screwed in to a wood panel that is a cross beam in the middle of the couch. After unscrewing them from the hidden compartment, it is very easy to attach the legs to the proper locations (all 4 corners and one middle leg). The legs were the only thing that we had to assemble. The leather color on our couch closely resembles the picture that was on the website. This is our first leather couch, and from what we can gather, leather colors can vary slightly due to the dying process. The leather feels to be a good quality, and does not appear to be a laminated layer of leather on top of vinyl (as some cheap leather couches are). We plan to use leather conditioner on the couch at least once a year, as others have told us that doing so will keep the color looking better, and make the leather last longer. If I remember, I'll post an update to this review after we've used it longer. We have two boy toddlers that love to have messy hands, so they will definitely put the couch to the test.

Candid review
Ok, there were several reviews on this particular sofa that helped me considerably in deciding what design, quality, and in the end the company to go with—include bad reviews (which are just as important and good one). Yes this sofa breaks in a little sooner than expected and has the very slightest creak . But all who are reading head to consider that this sofa is actually pretty solid as it was purchased online and delivered in a truck, riding for 100s of miles. Overall, the Rivet collection appears to be very comparable to high (over-) priced competing counterparts. This sofa is very in tune w the current trend in minders Dutch aesthetic. The velvet is easily cleaned (I have two medium sized canines). The color is so complementary to all stains of wood and metal. Take it from me, who shopped for a literal month for a suitable sofa in a specific style, this is a good buy for sure. Now, if u want better quality by all means spend several hundred more dollars, but this sofa is designed decently and comparable to the high end models I’m sure. I hope I have helped in your sofa search. Best.

False advertising
This sofa was advertised as genuine leather but I found a tag on it after a while that says it's all manmade material.

It's okay
I really liked the look of this couch but was very hesitant to buy something that I could not try out in person. I read all of the reviews and thought it over for a long time while I looked at other options. If you really, really like this couch then I say go ahead and buy it. I've had it 6 months now. The couch looks and performs as intended. The couch I had before this was big, overstuffed, super comfy, cozy, stain-proof and pet-proof. When I pushed the love seat against the couch I could create a cozy nest for a guest to sleep on, the two pieces together were the size of a bed. Unfortunately it was entirely too large for my new home and the style left something to be desired. Compared to my previous couch, this Rivet couch is super serious, type A but not elegant or artistic either. This Rivet couch is small, light, the seats are narrow, the back rest is low, there is nothing to rest your head against, the arm rests are hard and narrow. Keep in mind that my spouse and I are very short, not overweight people and this couch feels light and smallish. The size and structure are fine but there is nothing "extra" to this couch. My leather is not super soft and supple but not super hard and cheap feeling either. (I'm not sure how consistent this is across their product line.) If I didn't like the feel of the leather I would be disappointed but the quality has been fine for the price. The back of the couch looks good too. The couch cushions are supportive, not hard and def not extra cushy. I certainly would not expect anyone to spend the night on it. I sit on it every day, for hours at a time some days, and it is comfortable but not cozy. I am never uncomfortable but I never feel like I'm sinking into a cloud either. However, I am constantly trying to avoid staining it. This couch shows very clearly just how much my pets love it! That's to say, this couch shows every ding and scrape! They are family and I love them on the couch with me but now I have to figure out how to minimize those effects. I have not tried any leather cleaner or polish yet but that is my very next step. Am I satisfied with the couch? Sure. Am I in love with the couch? No. It has its limitations in comfort and in style. It def has the midcentury vibe. The color is . . . what it is. I thought I loved the Cognac color when I first saw it 2 years ago but it is a smidge more yellow that I was expecting, kind of like stained wood. I'll probably be waaay over this color by the time I get a new piece of large upholstery. Delivery and included set up was good. Did not, as promised by Amazon, get a call from delivery driver an hour before delivery. Delivery came super early, before the beginning of my delivery window. Luckily, I was home. Assembly was included but was finished in moments. Delivery took away the packaging and left me with a brand new, fully assembled couch in my living room. I think for the ease and convenience the price is okay. Obviously incredible mark-up over costs but A) I was not able to find a couch comparable in quality of style and comfort (if you do please let me know where in the comments) and B) I'm not going to make a couch myself anytime soon.
