These brackets are no joke. They are way better quality than ever expected. They will definitely do the job, and then some! I can’t even imagine a shelf that would be too heavy for them to support. My only concern is finding studs in the places I need to attach them, because they’re so heavy - I can’t imagine drywall would support them as well as a shelf. If you’re looking for heavy duty support, this is it.

Mounted these to the studs with decking screws on a shelf made with 2x10" boards. I can hang off it with my body weight.

These are great quality brackets but they are not 11.25". The inside measurement is actually 11.5" and this is the shelf all the way against the wall. I was a little disappointed but already had everything for 8 shelves and didn't have time to send these back and search for new ones.

I used these to create some clamp holders for my shop. .a box is enough to make 2 clamp holders (which in my case each holds 12-14 clamps).They are strong and they do exactly what I needed/wanted. I'm sure for a shelf on a wall they would be more than capable of their intended purpose. Just powder coated steel and I have yet to receive one that has any blemished or not be exactly what I ordered.(putting a picture of one of the 3 holders I've made. these don't hold my smaller clamps well, but as you can see on the left, they hold my others quite well and my other 2 are full of these sized clamps)

I bought these for an alcove. The brackets came in great condition. I didnt notice any scratched.Mounting… the brackets are not centered on the wall, but are centered on the studs. I cant do anything about the stud placement.I bought a 2x8x10 board and cut it into 40 in sections. After placing the brackets on the wall the boards fit beautifully in place. (I used the long stud screws that came with the brackets)I havent screwed the boards to the wall (those screws also included) and may not. I like being able to pull a board out and run cables behind, if needed. I think the boards are sturdy enough that I wont have an issue with tipping, since the right most stud is at the corner of the wall.
