Good lock to prevent mischeif...
We use these for fire sprinkler PIV's (post indicator valves) so that they are secured against vandalism but when the fire department shows up during a fire they can break them off with an axe easily. These wont stop a serious person bent on removing them but works as a deterrent from general mischief. We install these outdoors and with general maintenance like wd40 once a year they last for years.
