22" Heavy Duty Cotton Canvas Tote Bag (Zippered)

I was looking for a Extra Large Bag to carry to work everyday. I have purchased several other bags that were not large enough and the straps were not of good quality. The bags ended up breaking, making me go on the hunt for something better. This bag is better than I expected. Some bags claim to be to of good quality and they are not. This bag is super large. This bag feels very sturdy. This bag also has a good size pocket on one side of the bag that can hold cell phone, keys, flash cards etc. The color of the bag is beautiful! The bag fits all the items I am currenlty carring. So far I am happy with this bag, the fabric feels very nice. The bag looks and feels like quality. The bag hangs very well on my shoulder. This bag has many uses, I am currently using this bag as my work tote. I will also use the bag for the pool, and our travels. The zipper on the bag also closes very well and neat. The canvas material is really a very nice touch. This bag is what I needed. I also plan to place my purse inside the bag, or either put all of my purse contents inside this bag so that I can only carry this bag and my lunch bag. I will not be using this bag for groceries, because to me, the bag is too nice of a bag to place groceries in. This bag is very pretty!! Enjoy!! The only down side that I have found is that there are no pockets on the inside.

I bought two of these to use for grocery shopping, and I find myself using them for so much more than that! They are a lighter weight than more expensive bags, such as L.L. Bean, but they are still very sturdy, and the lighter weight actually works in my favor. Since they are light weight, it's easier on me to carry them around on my shoulder while I'm doing the grocery shopping--sometimes I forget they're there, and I panic that I've left the grocery bags at home before I remember they're on my shoulder (Yeah, senior moment. Hormonal Brain. Whatever.)! They also take up less space than the stiff LL Bean bags do, so that makes it easier to have multiples hanging around your car or front door. I also love that they hold SO MANY GROCERIES! Like, two to two-and-a-half paper grocery bags worth, each! They really reduce the number of trips back and forth from the car. The zipper top is great, too. I have an insulated bag that I use for colds, but when that one gets full, I feel like the zippered top helps at least contain some of the coolness of the overflow cold items that go into it. Not only do I use this for grocery shopping, but I also wind up using these for multiple other errands, such as returning books to the library, carrying my daughter's gear to her tennis lessons, and carrying the dry cleaning. I don't know why, perhaps it is because they're more stylish and not annoying at all to carry, but I find that I use these bags much more than I used my old store-logo, Tyvek-type reusable grocery bags, and I like the fact that these canvas bags, unlike the plasticy reuseables, can be tossed in the laundry when they get dirty. I'm really glad I bought these. I may buy one more, but I'm going to give it some time to see how I make out with just the two before I decide if a third one is really necessary.

I honestly hope Amazon isn't expecting me to write a review for every single purchase of this bag I've made, because I've only bought it in five or six different colors at this point. Let that be a starting point for my testament to their excellence! I bought my first of these three or four years ago. It's held up extremely well in all environments I've put it through, whether it's held binders or books in an office or a classroom or in moving. I still have that first one, and I'm still using it, but now I have even more, several of which I purchased due to moving: one for all of my dog's paraphernalia, two for carting around books, one for my skincare/makeup items, one for overnight and weekend trips, etc. Clearly, I am very grateful for the various color accents available, as they efficiently color-code my belongings so that I don't have to repetitively open bags to know what's inside them. It's honestly a genius idea and one of the best things since sliced bread as far as I'm concerned! I don't have all the colors yet, but if they add more colors, you know I'll be back! The slip pocket on these is a nice feature, but I honestly wouldn't have bought these if it weren't for the top zipper on them. Keeping dust, dirt, and germs out of my belongings is important to me, especially with moving. I've also branched out and bought one of the patterned-accent versions of these, which is just as cute, useful, and versatile as these, though I do wish there were more patterns to choose from! At any rate, these are EXCELLENT bags to have, and I'm sincerely impressed at their durability and versatility! Seriously, though, please add more colors. I could use some more colors! If you're hesitating to buy your first of these, don't. Don't sleep on these! Side note: despite other warnings I've observed, you can totally wash these in the washing machine. I wash them on the delicate cycle on cold (but not the absolute coldest option, the next one over), then hang them to dry. They dry wrinkled and sometimes appear to shrink, but fill them with books for a day after they dry and they'll regain their shape again, no problem at all. I've done this multiple times--probably ten times with my oldest bag--and they've sustained no damage, but they do feel a bit softer to the touch, as though they're a favorite pair of jeans that's getting broken in, which I'm also not complaining about. My point is, you can't really hurt these. They stand up to everything I put them through, and I'm very happy with them! I highly recommend these. They're the best! ❤️

Okay, this bag is perfect. I order for baby showers and get it monogrammed. It’s always a HIT! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I feel like “heavy duty” cotton is a little misleading. It’s not that starched cotton fabric like the LL Bean bag. It won’t stand up on its own. Otherwise great!

Nice weight/quality of canvas. Handles are sewn onto bag and sturdy. Great capacity for toting things around. For me, definitely can carry a crochet afghan project. Plan to get a couple more.

The issue is that after you wash this bag you have to iron it,because it gets wrinkles on it and looks ugly.

This is one great grocery-sized bag! I love the taller than usual dimensions and the handles are long too. The zippered top to the bag is terrific for our rainy weather here on the West Coast. I'm very satisfied, it will carry all my books and printed materials easily for a long time. Recommended.
