UPDATED:Downgrading from 2 to 1 stars. Just a few weeks later, after infrequent use, I turned my laptop on and got the Service Recommended notification for the battery. The cycle count is just 15! Insane. Do not buy._____Original Review:I installed this in a mid-2011 11” MacBook Air over the weekend. I calibrated the battery using the instructions by another company that produces a similar product. (Involves charging the battery to full and then letting it drain.)Unfortunately, despite all that, the battery lasts between 1-2 hours. Seems like closer to 1 hour now.Installation was easy. But merchandise box was not taped or sealed. And inside the box, there was no plastic wrap around the battery. There was a foam style insert to provide padding and cover the battery. I was getting less than 2 hours of battery life out of my 2015 MacBook Air so this was a great solution.These batteries are easy to install and extended my battery life to about 4.5-5 hours after heavy usage.I also want to commend NinjaBatt for their customer service.After about 2-3 months I had a battery warning appear on my Mac.I reached out to them and received a replacement and so far so good on this one.

I didn't want to spend a lot on my first battery replacement attempt. Now I know that my 2011 Air works and just needed a new battery.After install, I only had about 2.5 hours of life and wrote a pretty bad review.After doing a firmware update on my Air, the battery is now giving me about 4.5 hours hours with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on, typing in Word with Chrome open. So not too bad. Considering that I had a dead laptop a week ago and didn't want to spend a lot, this battery is a good deal. Anyone getting a low battery life should definitely do a firmware update before deciding whether this battery works well.

The free screw driver they give you is junk. Mine broke trying to remove back cover. I had to take to a shop to have installed which only took them 5 minutes. Besides that the battery is good.

As of this review, I've only had the battery installed 2 days, so I'll update after some time has passed. However, my impression so far has been OUTSTANDING! 5421 mAh and only 3 months old (I ran a battery program). My last one died in a little over a year and cost 2x as much NinjaBatt.The battery installed in 10 min and fit like a glove. Came 80% charged, and so far outperforms even my Apple battery by a mile. This thing burns slowly and charges quickly, we'll see about longevity.Update: Currently at 158 cycles and battery health is 51%. Average cycles on Mac Air is 300-500 according to Apple. So now I need to replace battery again. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this battery to replace the one in my 2011 11" Macbook Air. I was a little skeptical, but it was the only way to save my computer, which could not hold a charge at all anymore. Just unplugging it for a second caused it to crash and restart. The battery was shipped promptly and was a perfect fit for the laptop. Included with the battery was the exact size screwdriver to get the tiny screws out of the back of the laptop to access the battery. The installation was simple - I'm not a computer guy and it only took a few minutes once I had the back of the computer off. I don't know how long this battery will last, but for $55 to have me up and running again it's hard to beat. Highly recommend!

I installed this after my Macbook Air ballooned up one day. It has charged up fine, and hasn't given me any problems yet. Glad I could find an inexpensive battery to keep my air alive.

My 2013 MacBook Air had a battery that needing replacing. I was only getting about 3 1/2 hours on full charge and was getting the service battery notification in the battery menu. I bought this Ninja battery and it worked great for the first month. I would get about 6 hours on a full charge. Then after 2 months, I started having issues where the battery would just cut off once it reached about 7% charge. 3 months later and now the battery only last about 1 1/2 hours fully charged (worse than my previous battery) and I have the service battery notification again. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this battery at all.

Der Akku ist zwar schön und gut, passt nur leider nicht zu den angegebenen Geräten. Z.b. Passt es nicht zu dem Modell A1370 wie angegeben. Die Anschlussklemme vom Modell A1370 ist etwas weiter links als die von A1495. Wenn man den Anschluss nicht variabel ändern kann, hab ich leider den Falschen Akku bekommen.
