Good substitute for brand name hose
Got this hose to set up an Ultegra hyrdraulic brake. Nice that it comes with the banjo attachment for other brake systems like SRAM, but since I didn't need it I just cut it off. As some reviews have mentioned, the hose is not quite as flexible as a brand name OEM hose, but it's not a serious issue. Kit comes with the olives and barbs so you pretty much have all you need. Note however that the barbs are noticeably thicker than the factory ones and are a bit harder to push into the hoses. Still, for the price it's a good value.

Fits and functions perfectly.
Very good brake line! Working perfectly but be careful feeding it thru your frame.... It’s not as stiff (bends easy) as Shimano .

Great if you know how to install it
Works perfect for Shimano xt brakes, took a little force to get the stem in the hose but it does go

Low quality housing and leak everything, better spend money for quality housing and adapter
Pictures on listing looks prefect and professional but the actual product is not high quality, the housing feel very light and not easy to be cut and trim, I try to bleed the brand new shimano brake twice still keep leaking and cannot hold pressure. The price is GREAT and only less than half price what shimano or other named brand offer but not worthy the time and effort to use it.

Cheap hose, but too fragile as a rear brake line
The hose is significantly more stiff than the hoses sold from Shimano. Not too big a deal if it won't move much (like a front brake), but unfortunately it is unsuitable as a rear brake line. When I had the bike on the stand, I caused the hose to kink just by mounting the front wheel - fork rotated about 90-100 degrees from center and that was enough to buckle the line without much resistance. I was surprised as usually I can get a full 180 degrees of rotation before the steering at least starts seizing up.I'm glad it at least failed on the stand. I get the feeling it wouldn't have held up around the rear pivots when riding for real.TL;DR it's okay you are just using a front brake line, but awful as rear brake line.

Buy shimano if you can
Outer casing cracked each time barb inserted. First attempt leaked at lever. Had to file down casing to get olive far enough up so threads would catch. Expect to replace with shimano brand bh90 ASAP.

Hose is brittle and splits when barb is installed
I tried installing this hose in 37 degree Fahrenheit weather, which isn't THAT cold. The hose split 3 times while trying to install the barb in the end. After three strikes, I gave up and returned it.
