Electronics in easy steps

I’m working on an electromagnetic project and got this to help me learn about capacitors, transistors, and mosfets, would highly recommend

This concise little book provides an excellent overview of Basic electronics, ideally suited for a hobbyist or someone trying to review. Interestingly this is a British book and includes both American and European symbols and notation

Great book if you are starting out learning electronics

This provides an overview of many of the basic components of electronics and what they do as such its a good primer to aid understanding of more indepth texts.

I bought this book on a whim as I had a passing interest in electronics. I thought it was just a basic introduction, but it isn't. I knew some very basic stuff, and this book refreshed that, but it has so much more in it.The author has excellent economy of language and never puts in more information than is needed. It is in easy steps too. This is one of my favourite text books, because of its economy. It might push you to watch some videos, not because of lack of clarity of the text - but because it insires your interest.

This book starts basic then goes into basic concepts deeper. I enjoyed it. It does however make certain concepts a bit harder than they are, like, identifying a resistor by colour code, this is just attention to detail. Overall I loved the book. A great refresher.
