Garmin Forerunner 10 GPS Watch - Pink/White (Renewed)

It took me forever to get around to ordering this but I am so glad I did.I had been using my phone and apps with that, but with the phone in an armband it doesn't make for convenient stat checks. I love that I can adjust this for laps, check miles run, check pace, and tailor it for my needs when I run. Garmin Connect works great and I have a place to go back to review my runs. The buttons are easy to push and use of the product is easy as well.I think it holds a charge very well and although I have only used it on short runs so far, I have no worries about it lasting through longer runs.Pros- easy to use, holds a charge well, multiple functions and settings you can use to tailor your run or walk to your needs, Garmin Connect is a great database to upload your runs to and keep track of your progress, great for refurbished and can't beat the price point.Cons- It is a little bigger than a regular watch, but not overly cumbersome. If you are like me and run when it is dark, your scatter brain may push the wrong button and when you think you have set your run you have not and it shuts off five minutes in. That may just be me. Does not have bluetooth.

So I am really disappointed. I bough the watch a little over a month ago and it only worked for few of my runs and now every run, regardless of location, can never get GPS to find the location. If messed me up on my first half marathon because it took a few trys and nearly 30 min into my run to finally get GPS to find my location. Last straw was my long run this morning. Nope didn't work still. 30 days retun policy had passed so now I am stuck. I wish I would have invested into a good watch right away. You get what you pay for I guess. I wouldn't suggest purchasing this and wish there was a way to return.

Great watch for those who don't want all the bells and whistles. Easy to use. I was looking for a watch to track my pace and distance while running because I was tired of carrying my smartphone along, this works perfectly! I can use it a few times before needing to recharge it.

Great watch if you don't mind waiting for the GPS to find your destination. Sometimes the watch finds my location quickly, but not always. Once I waited 10 minutes (I had already started jogging at that point) and it still didn't find my location. I restarted the tracker and then after 3 minutes, it found my location... On the plus side, once it finds my location, everything else works as designed.

Overall- great! The running app I used previously on my phone stopped working the way I needed it to (it would never restart after autopausing!). Plus, I wanted something that would allow me to see my pace and time easily during my run without needing to fish out my phone. As phones have gotten larger I've been more reluctant to take my phone on my run, but I love to review my run stats when I'm finished. This is a great way to get that information, without having to shell out the big bucks for something super fancy. It comes with everything you need and the fact that it is refurbished has not been an issue at all.Pros-* Great way to track my distance and time while I run without having to carry my phone with me* Easy to use, large buttons, clear display. Gets me the basics without complication. Easy to stop and start again on the run or at the end of the run so you can get a more accurate time.* Auto pause works well and restarts when I start running. And, I get a "moving pace" and an "average pace" to account for my short pauses.* Gentle beep when I hit miles lets me know my pace per mile* Current pace seems decently accurate. I try not to rely on it too much as I like pacing myself, but there are runs where this has been very helpful!* Fun way to track runs - lets me know right after the run if I hit any PRs* Shows mile split times and average pace as soon as you finish the run* Good size, good color :)Cons -* Sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to get my location.* Occasionally, the first bit of my run may show up in the wrong location on the maps when I upload my run. Usually this is pretty minimal - it might show me running through houses instead of on the sidewalk. Usually this goes away with a mile or so and has very little affect on my overall distance* Garmin connect app doesn't let you add photos.. and you obviously can't take photos with this watch. When running or hiking with my phone and a different running app, it was nice to snap a pic and have it be associated with the activity.* Garmin connect has been little spotty over the past few weeks that I have been using the watch. Currently it is basically down, and the "segments" feature hasn't worked at all. Hoping this will be fixed soon!

I love the product but as a "refurb" it's only giving me 3 1/2 hours of battery vs what the instructions say is 5 hours of battery. Love the product not happy with the functioning. Would be ok if didnt pay the "fully functional" device price .

I usually don't buy refurbished products since you don't know what you are going to get, however I decided to buy this watch since was from Garmin and refurbish certificated by amazon. I was no disappointed. The product arrived well packaged in a box with the Garmin brand on with the Refurbish sing on it, with new manuals and new cable. The product looked exactly like new, no scratches, no dust, no finger prints, I could say that it was new. The product works perfect, it can get the ubication really fast and it is really easy to use. It is great product for runners, at a great price.Highly recommendable.
