Works great and was easy to install. The activation instructions for the box aren't great and it's not covered in the video.

Easy to install! Just make sure to read through all directions first. I put everything back together before realizing we had to sync to vehicle first. Should have known but got ahead of myself.

2020 Toyota Sienna. Easiest plug and play. Everything fits. Instructions were super simple. There’s a lot of videos online to help with installation but the one provided in the manual is more than enough. Programming the device is also easy if you follow the instructions in the manual. Overall 5/5 installation. 5/5 instructions. Took me 10 mins on the install. Highly recommend. If only their range extender was a little cheaper. It already has a port ready for a plug and play.

Buy it. I’m so mad I waited this long to put a remote starter in my truck. It took me 10 mins. The directions that came with it didn’t have the last part of the install but a quick YouTube search showed me how. If you program it at the end and it flashes orange instead of blue, take off the last connectors to the program box and make sure connections clicked. That solved my problem. The distance range is really good too. That’s me inside my job starting my truck from that far away.

Everything was plug and play and easy to install easy to program. Tech support was great and helped solve my issues. For my 2019 Toyota Sienna the OEM remote doesn't reach very far so I added Fortin RFK942 one of many suggested by Start-X website. For some reason I had to buy the RFA2A kit even though the T-Harness already had a provision for the antenna, it didn't power the antenna and wouldn't allow me to program the remotes. RFA2A - I had to make a slight modification to the power input connector to accept the connector from the Start-X T-Harness. This is more to try an be helpful as I feel this issue is with the connector on the RFA2A. I left a review for that Start-X to RFK942. If using a Fortin Kit get the information off the remote start module and your amazon order # then email tech support. They will direct you to what module that this is similar to so you can get the remote programming instructions to your specific vehicle. The only reason I took off one star was due to the fact the information was scattered which is somewhat understandable as the antenna kit was from a different company but if they are going to suggest it they should have the information on their website. Also, because the harness has the provision for an antenna but didn't power and needed the extra connector.

Super easy to install

Wanted remoted start for my 2019 4Runner Limited Nightshade but refused to pay extra at the dealership. Found this and watched the YouTube video and figured it was worth a shot before it starts to get cold out. The installation took less than 20 minutes. Be sure to watch the video and use the pry tool carefully so you don't cause any damage. Never yank the console out, slightly wiggle until it is easier to remove. Will update after sometime. *3 Month Update* Loving the remote start as we transition into winter. Very happy with this DIY upgrade! I also wanted to give others a heads up to turn your headlights completely off before you get out of the car. Especially if you'll be remote starting when it is dark out. I made the mistake of leaving my lights on auto and had my battery drain once. Since making this adjustment, no problem. Of course, remember to set the ideal settings for warm up of the interior.

Very easy to install, if you have even beginner level DIY skills working on vehicles. There are some great videos on YouTube from Start-X and also from customers showing exactly how to install this. I took my time, went very slowly and carefully, and was still fully done in under 45 minutes. Probably the trickiest part was tucking everything up neatly with zip ties at the end in a way that I was happy with, but I am bit fussy about that. One tip would be to maybe have a bit of foam handy in case the starter module hits against anything once tucked under the steering column. That would help with any annoying rattling/knocking noises it might cause in the future as you hit bumps on the road. I was able to get it secured with just the zip ties it comes with, so I don't think I will have any issues, just sharing this thought with the community as something to consider having handy when installing. Also, it came with some sort of hood switch that must be optional. On my 2015 Sienna, there already is a hood open sensor, and this starter is smart enough to detect that and will not start the car when the hood is open. This is for safety, so if someone is working on the engine, it is not started accidentally say by leaning on the fob in your pocket.

Took me less then 15 minutes to install . Working very good .

Simple 20 minute install. The video instructions make it incredibly easy. Have had it for 3 weeks and zero issues whatsoever. It has not caused any adverse draw on the battery either. I haven’t timed it yet, but there is a ten or fifteen minute timer on run time and then it automatically shuts off. You can restart it repeatedly as usual though.

Install wasn't hard at all, plug and play. It works just as described, I have yet to have a single issue, you would think it was an option from the factory. It would have been nice to adjust the amount of time it runs for and leave the car running when the doors are opened (the rear hatch does not shut it down though).
