MQ 7W RGB Aquarium Light, 12 in LED Fish Tank Light with Extendable Brackets, 24/7 Automated Planted Plus Aquarium Light with Remote Controller

The lights are bright. The remote control didn't work at first but after 5 mins of messing with it, it started working. The 24/7 cycle is nice to have so I can just leave my light on. Pretty much a cheaper & smaller version of Current USA planted+ led light fixture.The only negative I have is if you are changing the settings whether brightness or color, you have to keep pressing + or - so it can be blinding to your fish and yourself. Should come with a seizure warning lol.

This is a good light and it is keeping my plants and fish happy. But me not so much. It is not wide enough for my 20 gallon tank without the cover and I cannot use the cover when using the light. I have found a way to use it but it is a pain. So because I am lazy I have taken away one star.

I do love the different functions on this light. The storm simulator I thought would cool, but the fish are not having it. I wouldn’t really qualify this as a plant light. I have this on high the majority of the time and the plants look terrible. I do love the gradual 24-hr feature. I think its cool, i think the fish appreciate it…I do wish it would completely turn off at some point. It is very dull, but in a shallow tank, that is still pretty illuminated. The remote has a ton of buttons and I broke it 30 seconds after opening it, so there may be more to the programming that I’m unaware of. The instructions could also be better. If your remote is going to have 40 buttons on it, i’d like the instructions to explain what they all do.

This tank light is just ok. It lights straight down from where you put it. I don't recommend for a cube tank because it only lights half of a 30 gallon. The light is definitely UV as advertised, so be aware of alge growth. The buttons on the remote don't always work. I tried several different brand new batteries. The remote has to touch the light to work part of the time. The rest of the time it doesn't work at all. The color functions work ok but scare the hell out of my fish.

I love this light! I was a little worried because my aquarium is really more like 19" wide but the 12-18 fit perfectly! The hourly function is a total blessing for someone who doesn't like turning the light up and down throughout the day. I personally forget a lot to turn my tank lights on at appropriate times. The remote also makes it super easy to adjust if you do like to it yourself. One thing to note is that the night mode on the light doesn't turn the lights all the way off if that's something that bothers you. Honestly though everything else about it is great. Much cheaper than one you'd find in a pet store for the same size aquarium. I'm also using mine in a lightly planted tank and haven't seen any problems with that.

After reading the directions I was able to figure it out! Pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price.

Little hard to operate but works great

This light is perfect! we managed to yet it to fix on our 16 gallon fluval spec as it has a timer unlike the stock light. It dynamically changes color and brightness throughout the day simulating the sun and moon and it make the tank and plants captivating to look at.

Very good and bright with a wide variety of light spectrums. I was skeptical that wasn't going to provide enough light for plants but it works wonderfully. The controller works but drains the battery very quickly, so I keep the plastic tap in it when im not using it.FYI this light heats up so make sure to keep it out of reach from the kids and pets.Overall good quality for the price hasnt failed me yet. :D

This is a good light for a small tank.
