My daughter has had the large purple duffel for 3 years for overnights at grandmas and anytime we travel out of town which is A LOT. It has held up so well with virtually no wear or flaking that when she was asking for a pink gym bag for dance and gymnastics I already knew this would be perfect. It is a rough glittery exterior and not a smooth wipable plastic that some may expect but it doesn’t pick up dirt anyway. She is beyond thrilled and has carried it around empty for a week. It is just the right size for multiple pairs of dance shoes, her street shoes, hair stuff, an extra leotard, a change of clothes, and a water bottle with a bit of room (for an preschool or elementary aged kid). If you tend to overpack or are closer to middle school aged I suggest using the larger one.Note: I ordered the large pink duffle for my youngest a few months ago and returned the item because unlike our other bixbee bags it was not true to color and was almost silvery with a clashing pink strap. Because this medium bag was exactly true to color I will be reordering the large pink duffle and chalking it up to a one time fluke.

Super cute, perfect size for my 5-year-old’s dance bag, but it does, in fact, get glitter on everything it touches.

Love everything about this bag besides the outside layer of glitter isn’t protected so you get glitter on whatever the bag has touched. Wish I would have known this. We use this as a dance bag for my 4 year old and it works great. She’s able to carry it herself & works great for carrying her dance shoes back & forth.

Originally I bought the small but I did not realize how small is actually is. It is doll size, could barely fit one pair of tap shoes in there. If you scroll the reviews u can see the one next to the banana is a good comparison. Was bummed because its SO CUTE! So I bought the medium and it is perfect. So adorable and sparkly. We fit tap shoes, extra shoes, ballet shoes & an extra pair of clothes in there. Love it!

I got the medium size. I know they post the measurements but the bag still turned out to be smaller than expected...can't fit in much at all, basically only good for small kids, one set of clothing plus shoes and leotard and that's about it. My 5-year old loves it.

The most precious little duffle bag for dance!! It's so glittery! My daughter loves it! It is definitely a bag for a beginner dancer only because of the size. We got the small one. But for my little girl, it fits her ballet and tap shoes, two outfits and water bottle perfectly! We have been using it for almost two months now and still have not noticed any wear with the glitter.

I got this for my 5 yr old daughter to use for dance class. It fits both her tap shoes and ballet shoes, as well as a 12" teddy bear that she is required to have in class. She also has room to put a change of clothes in there. The bag is a perfect size for her! The bag is very sparkly/shiney, but none of that comes off, which is fantastic!

It's really sparkly which is what I was going for. The bag is made from a sparkly plastic material but so far the glitter doesn't appear to be coming off. this is not a hard working durable bag but it is perfect for a once a week dance class for a four year old.
