Seiko Watch Five Sports SKX Men's Wristwatch

If you are thinking about purchasing a Seiko 5 Sports SKS 5KS might as well purchase one made in Japan from Amazon Japan. The orange dial watch is Japan model SBSA009 also known as SRPD59 outside of Japan. This one is made in Japan which is clearly printed on the dial and the case back. This is my first Seiko 5 Sports watch. It's a very nice watch. Bezel insert and chapter ring are well aligned. 120 click rotating bezel. 100 meter water resistance, Japan Kanji/English day wheel. Push/Pull crown. Awesome Seiko Lumibrite luminous hands and hour markers. No lume pip on the bezel. 4R36 automatic movement (aka NH36A) which is also apparently made in Japan (6 beats per second with second hand hacking and auto & manual winding) I honestly haven't worn it much yet to test the accuracy. My timegrapher shows -8 s/d, 278 amplitude, 1.2ms beat error in dial up position so maybe not the most accurate movement out of the box. Looks like I will do some regulating on this movement. No complaints on the bracelet or clasp which has 4 micro adjustment positions. This watch does get compliments!

I like very much this watch. Fit weel on my writs 7.5 inch. Green color is stunning! Caliber 4R is supperb. Made in Japan. Bracelet is good. My only issue is about the clasp, wich looks chepear. Finaly this model is only 100 m water resist. The crown is push button not screw. This is not a problem for me. But is important consider this if you will use the watch for professional diving.

Great watch, markers DO NOT illuminate. Full automatic and good for home n office but NOT built for hard use like a Luminox or MTM. But awesome to wear. Change the bands for a different look.

Bought this for my son for Christmas this year. He loves it. Heavy and well made. He’s received many compliments on it. This particular model is not sold everywhere so it is pretty unique.

I'm leaving 4 stars only because this watch does lose a bit of time. However, that said, for the money it is about as good as you can expect. So, if an Omega Seamaster is a 5, this Seiko is punching above its weight at a 4.The watch has that weight you associate with a luxe watch, and the bracelet was easy to adjust with an at-home tool kit.I dig it.
