Yeah, this stuff actually works really well. Drop a Blueapple into your produce bin and stuff that would sprout new life forms and new civilizations after a few days of being ignored remains crisply inert for at least a week or two. Don't judge me.

For years my husband has complained that I throw out too much food that goes bad. His idea was that I buy less therefore having less to waste. I finally figured out how to make fruits and vegetables last longer and now I mostly put leftovers in the freezer. So basically I'm saving a lot of money not wasting food and my husband is happier. So like today I took my bell peppers out of the produce drawer and they were still OK to use. Very often before I had these little bluapples the peppers would go moldy and soft very quickly. I also found this helps celery not to go bad as fast. So dinner was a success because the vegetables were still looking good! I have one of these little apples in the vegetable drawer and one in the fruit drawer. I think keeping everything separate that way is advised! I got a bag of replacement packages so I don't run out! Marking the replacement day down on your calendar is key or you can sign up for notifications I guess. I'm happy with these and I can already see how they are going to save me a lot of money. Plus did I mention my husband is going to be happier???? Waste not Want not! I received only two bluapples, but consignment didn't contain any refills. In the product description it is written as, 2 bluapples and 8 refills, which will serve for 1year. But I didn't receive any refills.

I wasn't sure about the product, but my produce was getting bad too often so I decided to try. I can say it works as described, from things going to the garbage in 1 week, now they last at least for 2 weeks so I can eat them instead of throwing away food. Happy customer!
