Works well and smells great. Keep it in the shower to deep clean the face and neck. Nice and fresh. A little pricier than other brands but a good product.

Great profuct. After a week of dirt dust chemicals all over my mug, this cleans up the dead skin and revitalizes your face.

I have tried other products and nothing compares to Jack Black. High quality and effective. Not cheap but really good stuff.

I originally got the mini size in a Jack Black set for my husband for Christmas last year since he’s a fan of the brand. One day I noticed the face scrub in the shower and decided to give it a try. Big mistake. I got instantly hooked. The smell is so fresh and spa-like and the scrub feels amazing on the skin. It’s invigorating without being too harsh and leaves your face feeling smooth and awake. I immediately bought us a bigger tube and now we keep it stocked in the shower to share. Honestly one of the few products that we both genuinely love and use. If you’re looking for a scrub that feels luxe and delivers clean refreshed skin this one’s a winner.

This stuff is really impressive. I have sensitive skin and often get razor burn so I've adjusted my whole shave from pre-shave to post shave. And so far it's been just okay as an experience. I use a sensitive skin blade razor etc with lots of shea butter and jojoba oil afterwards. I decided to try this exfoliator as appreciative to raise the hair follicles to clean out the pores. This has proven to be not just an excellent addition to help improve my skin but the closeness of the shaves afterwards are amazing. I do recommend using a pre-shave oil after exfoliating with Jack Black to help with raising the follicles. What I thought was a BBS shave I was normally getting has been absolutely blown away. The grain size of the scrubbing particles is a bit bigger than I expected which I much prefer.

Overall a good product for pre-shave conditioning. The menthol is a nice touch as it addes a clean refreshing touch. It is ok as an exfoliant, but nothing like the best I have found... Clinques face scrub - that stuff will remove your skin to the bone if you wanted. The Clinique scrub is an extremely thick sandy paste which works far better as an exfoliant. However for an everyday pre-shave wash the Black Jack Buff is a really good quality product. I do really like this product but seems a bit overpriced as it appears more similar to the $5-$8 tubes of beaded face scrubs than an exfoliant. I will likely continue to use Jack Black as it does work so well for pre-shaving (and I like the scent and menthol)

So.......First understand I am married to a woman that sells cosmetics for a living! The deals I can get on ALL the high end products are ridiculous. Yes, even with the "deals" to be honest, they are still a bit more expensive than the Jack Black product mentioned here. I have, because of my wife, a bit of an OCD issue with my skin and my skin care routine and certainly my shaving routine. I use a plethora of products, to say the least. It asks for a photo in the review, take a look, it's embarrassing!! it is what it is! I will focus on this product only for now...I'll get to the others at another time. Now, this may or may not be how the Jack Black company intended this to be used, but how I use it, works for me. I first wash my face with a simple neutrogena face wash. I follow up with the Jack Black Face Scrub (JBFS) as I will refer to it as, then apply the Jack Black Beard lube on top of that...WITHOUT rinsing off the JBFS, then I put shaving cream on top of that. So yes! crazy, but now I have essentially 3 layers of "products" on my face before I shave. I completely shave my face and then mix the JBFS with a mild face wash to wash off any residue. The JBFS really softens up my "beard" or facial hair and makes the shave as smooth as silk and my face unbelievably smooth when all is said and done. Oh, and I do all this in the shower with a fogless mirror, which I shall review as well. Once out of the shower I run an electric shaver all over my face getting any stragglers that maybe I missed with the blade. I then follow up with a facial toner and eye cream, face cream etc......all this I will get to, or feel free to ask. I have tried a lot!! I assure you...A lot! I come back to the JBFS over and over and over. Now, that being said, I am OCD and in no way recommending you follow my routine, what I am recommending is the JBFS to really clean you face extremely well, clean out those pores and keep your face feeling smooth and sexy. (HAHAHA). I can't recommend it enough. The smell, the "granniness" of the product is perfect, not too fine, not too thick....Try it, I'd be curious if you are having the same feelings after using it...I'll review some of the other products I use at a later time. Certainly too course for everyday use & the grains are also somewhat sparse. Packaging, scent & texture all good.
