Not at all as advertised anymore
When I first bought this product over a year ago, it was great. I just bought another set and it didn’t come with a remote, you can’t dim or control the lights, and it’s SO tangled that it’s actually impossible to detangle. The little wires of copper are completely intertwined. I’m returning.l and buying elsewhere.

Unspool from the terminal end, not the connector
Tip: unspool these from the terminal end. Mine unspooled from both ends at the same time when I took off the wire ties, so I started unspooling from the connector, but that quickly introduced some kinks and tangles that I had to sort out. When I abandoned that end, and unspooled the other -- everything wound right out without any more trouble at all.I am completely in love with these lights. I needed lights in my basement that I could put on a WiFi smart plug, mainly to make sure they are turned off every night. I have an absent-minded habit of leaving my laundry area lights on. I want to lower my electric usage, hence WiFi switches and smart plugs to program Off-timers. I measured out the distance between my glassblock windows, then split the difference to make three equal coils, so I have three wreaths of light that not only light my utility area, but also glow across my yard at night. It looks really lovely from the outside, and I have enough light around my laundry that I don't need to turn on the hardwired pull-string lights that cannot be put on WiFi. I'll update those eventually, but this was a workaround that looks really pretty both inside and outside of my house.I skipped the controller for now, but I did test it, and the functions are very nice. I think I will add the controller during the winter, when including my glassblock windows in my holiday light display will just kick everything up another level. The one thing I really like about the controller is that it keeps whatever the last setting was. If you had the lights at 10% bright when you turn them off, they will still be only 10% bright when you turn them back on.Utility lights 365; holiday lights in the winter. I definitely got my money's worth!I plan to buy more, so that I can hang them likewise in the rest of my glassblock windows during the holidays, gently glow up my whole house. I have never been a fan of super bright holiday displays, but the fairy lights can be set to such a very dim glow, that I think they will look fantastic against the snow.

Beautiful, but wish they could connect and some annoying features
I love these lights and the fact that you can coil into any shape - they were perfect for my bedroom with the vines. They are BEAUTIFUL! I hung them with small command hooks. I even returned another set I had purchased previously because these were prettier.HOWEVER, there are some annoying features. First of all, you cannot connect any strands together. In my bedroom I had to hang 4 separate string lights and plug them into 4 outlets. Also, one remote will work for all of them but you have to be able to point directly at the outlet that it's plugged into and there can't be anything in the way or else the remote won't work. So I have to basically walk around my room to point the remote in 4 different spots to turn them on. Another con is that they do not stay on one setting when you press that button. They switch back and forth between all of the settings unless you have it set on number 8 which is steady and no blinking or waves. I wish I could keep them on the waves setting, but I do not like that they go back and forth and start blinking fast so I have to keep them on the steady setting or they will drive me mad.All in all, these annoying features are worth it to me to have beautiful lights that hang well with my vines! I just wish they would connect together, that the remote was easier, and that they stayed on one setting.

They’re great! Until they’re not :(
I’ve had these lights for a little over a year. Sometimes they would stop working. I would unplug and replug and they would typically start working again. Recently they stopped working. Out of the blue. Not the most sustainable option but they looked nice while they lasted! Pretty bummed out that they broke so easily

Lights are Great, few things to know!
I used these lights as decoration for my dorm room above my bed and they were so long I wrapped them around my desk. They turned out beautiful. I've had them up for two months now, and they've held up. They really were the icing on the cake in terms of decor. You absolutely will need patience when you are unraveling these lights. Note that they do not come tangled, they can BECOME tangled if you aren't careful. The only thing I have to say is, on occasion, the lights will sometimes start blinking. It freaks me out, but nothing more, I just press the clear button and it goes back to normal. Other than that, the lights are great. These lights will stay on all day and all the features of the remote work just fine (though I don't use them as much). I absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking to get some LONG and RELIABLE fairy lights.

My Roku remote changes the settings!
These are gorgeous lights, but I put them in my bedroom and every time I turn on my Roku tv they start slowly flashing. Volume adjusts the brightness! It is very annoying. I fixed it by removing the controller and just using the wall plug to turn them off and on. I use them as the main light source, so that's not a problem. They are great lights, it's just that remote/controller is whack... If you use a Roku remote nearby, lol.

Pretty and very good for price point, delicate but still functioning thus far
These lights all-in-all are very nice and fair for the price I paid. I've had these up in my room for awhile, the wires are very malleable and easy to mold, making them interesting to adjust into different patterns. They are incredibly pretty and rose-gold/salmon in color but I have been very careful with unwravelling and shaping the wires because they do seem like they are incredibly fragile and thin. Fortunately so far the lights still work as well as when I first got them. There are also a handful of different modes where the lights can flicker in different patterns, but I'd say only 2 or 3 at best are actually feasible and tolerable. I usually just leaves the lights still or with the slow fading on and off. I use command strips to hold them up.
