Q: Can I get instructions in English

Yes the instructions are in a few different languages. One of them being in English.

Q: Does it come with a remote bass knob?

Yes. it's on a separate cable about 8 ft. long. The subwoofer was under my seat and the knob was velcro-ed under the dash by the steering wheel. I installed it in an RV.

Q: Can this alpine pwe-s8 be installed in a home theater system to produce same punchy bass, if power supply is no problem?

Probably possible.... power supply will be an issue 12v versus 120v and speaker ohms need to be compatible as well however Surely you can locate Bose home speakers to resolve punchy base issue Good luck
