Philips Hue White Dimmable Filament A19 Smart Edison Vintage LED Bulb, Bluetooth & Hub Compatible (Hue Hub Optional), Voice Activated with Alexa

I absolutely LOOOVE these lightbulbs. We took a long (looong) time deciding whether or not they were worth the investment since we needed so many bulbs for this light fixture, but as soon as we put them in I was in love. I even love the look of the black base sticking out (though something to think about if you don’t like that look). We have several other “plain” Phillips Hue bulbs throughout the house but these were the first ~faaancy~ ones we bought that were going to be exposed and they look SO. FREAKING. GOOD. Super easy to sync with Alexa and Google Home (we have both) and work great with the Phillips hue light switch we already had. Absolutely, 100% recommend the investment.

The warmth does make them a little less bright, but the light up the room beautifully. They work perfectly. And they have the cool factor we wanted. Perfect with the metal wall lights I purchased. They look much darker in the pictures.

We have lots of Phillip Hue Bulbs. I traded out one of our lights, and our old bulb was too strong for the new fixture. I grabbed this one hoping that it would be a nice gentle light. It's great. It's a lot more yellow than the previous light, but in all other respects, it's working perfectly. Hue bulbs are my preferred connected lightbulb simply because they are nearly error proof.

This light is easy to add to the Hue app, Google home, or HomeKit, making it easy to set the desired brightness and the schedule you want it on(I use for porch lighting) and then you just let it go!

Nice, but still very bright at 1%. Blinding at anything higher if you look at it directly.

We have a globe-type open shade and I was so tired of seeing the ugly bulb. This really made me happy to finally put in a bulb I do not mind seeing. It’s definitely stylish and functions great. We have many other hue lights (bulbs, strip & go lamp) and are very happy with the hue products. You do need the hue bridge to make any of these work with the “smart” feature (and Alexa), but once you have that you can keep adding bulbs / lights. Definitely worth buying.

They look good, work as advertised, but did not last. After 9 month, I have had 3 of the 4 fail. The lightbulb just blinks when powered on, and the Hue can't find the bulb anymore. I have several plain hue bulbs that I have had for much longer and have had none fail. Maybe my set are duds, maybe it's this style of bulb. Regardless, would not recommend.

The color temperature is very warm and non adjustable, but if you are going for the vintage/Edison type of look and want a smart bulb I feel these are a good choice. They look fantastic on night light mode where you can really see the “filament” spiral of LEDs, and work as well as our other Hue lights with Alexa (which is to say, great).
